tthrowyawa Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Pictures: These are the improvements I can think of: Short nose = Lenghten nose with implant (probably either siclicone or Gore-Tex) Wide nose = Alar base reduction Flat nose, under-projected tip= ??? Bulbous nose = ??? Am I wrong in my assessment? What specific surgeries would I need for my nose. I've be been recommended argumentation rhinoplasty (is this different from dorsal argumentation?), but I'm unsure what it entails. The most important thing for me is to make my nose less upturned and wide; however, it's essential that it is functional and looks natural. Would it be bad to let the surgeon give me some guidance? I've never seen anyone with my nose, they're usually either wide or upturned, not both at the same time, so I can't use pictures. However, if I just push the nose with my fingers, it'll look kind of how I want it. And if I also emphasize that I want it to look natural, would it be bad to leave the rest to the surgeon? Any recommendations for surgeons with experience with my type of nose? It's important that the surgeon is board certified in rhinoplasty and is specialized in ENT + has a board certified anesthesiologist, but I'm unsure how to find one who fits all my requirements. Furthermore, it's preferable if the surgeon does a limited amount of surgeries a day, but I have no idea how to find out these things.
