xninix77 Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Hi! I’ve been researching double eyelid surgery and was hoping to get it done in Southern California when I move there next year. Does anyone know of any reputable surgeons in that area? I did some research on RealSelf and saw Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva had lots of positive reviews. However I recently had a very brief consultation with her on video chat and am having some second thoughts.. anyone here have any insight? Thanks in advance!
xninix77 Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 She quoted me about 6000 for double eyelid surgery and epicanthroplasty
rainbowdash15 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Did u ask for a discount? Mine is a révision. If yours is $6000 mine will be much more! Il
xninix77 Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 No I didn’t ask. Did you have a doctor you were looking at?
emmaaurie Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Charles S Lee in south california is also very good (But super expensive).
rainbowdash15 Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Not in OC. It’s too expensive for that price I’d rather fly to korea! They have more experience. But If I can find a quote for $4000 I would do it in the US. Did u set a date yet?
xninix77 Posted December 14, 2019 Author Posted December 14, 2019 Really? How much is it on average in Korea? I didn’t set a date yet because I am nervous now and want to do more research... I’m debating if I should do it in Korea too!
groovyscaup Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Thanks for posting and kick starting this curious to know about places other than korea as well.
m0mmas Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I’m getting mines done with Dr Charles Lee in Beverly Hills.
rainbowdash15 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Average price in korea for des is 2.5 krw and maybe 1 or 1.5 mil for epi. And you can negotiate the price also.
justdimples Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Dr Charles Lee has some really bad reviews I would do more research or select a different doctor. I think you would be better off flying to Korea and going with an experienced doctor there that sees asian eyes regularly.
