South Korea in Feb 2020( under eye surgery)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone ,

I'll finally be going to south Korea to get the fat under my eyes removed ! It has caused me immense depression and made me so self insecure . It's about $4,000-5,000 in the states but $1,000 in South Korea

I don't speak Korean and I would be going alone . If anyone else is planning on going during that time , please let me know donate least I'll have a friend there : )!

Thank you and take care

Hi! so most big clinics with several floors to themselves have their own English coordinator/ interpreter but in my case, they tried to cover up the misdeeds of the surgeon. Then I went to a smaller clinic for revision and they had an English coordinator so, try to ask around the clinics to see if they have an English speaking person to help you out!

Do you recommend any particular clinic/ hospital? Did you get the under eyes done?

Hey! I didn't but my friend did! She got D.E surgery and lower blepharoplasty. She talked to Girin, Answer (where I got my revision done), and View. All three that we went to get consultation were great. I would definitely recommend Answer from my personal experience where, yeah sure the doctor isn't so happy go lucky, but is far more responsible than other doctors when it came to my surgery. He specializes in facial contouring procedures so many Koreans go to him. Some people seem to keep saying he is intimidating or not nice but honestly, I think he was shy  My friend chose Girin because the head consultant was thorough and she tried to negotiate on our behalf! Her name was Lee hana or lee yoona I think! Then View, they were good too! But the doctor recommended something entirely different from the doctors of both Answer and Girin so we decided to drop View off the list. So she picked Girin and her lower eye bags and dark circles are pretty much gone and she is very happy. I was very happy when I saw the end results!

I'll just miss you then, I'm coming on the 18th :/
I've heard View and ID mentioned a lot. Though ppl also seem to recommend staying away from big clinics due to doctor swapping and what-not. I'll give their pics a look, though ... I was looking at Wannabe because the doc there specialises in eye bags and MVP because doc's fat graft has a good review (which I also want) but still on the hunt for options. The Wannabe doctor did a live eye bag surgery seminar where he operated on another surgeon, which is good for his cred. Wish there were more reviews in here about that clinic, though.

I'm planning to do nose at namu, but nose, but I'm also curious about under eye fat repositioning. There's some hollows under my eye and it also looks dark from possibly thinner skin and my vein being bark. from what I heard fat will be a better option for this. i they're pretty good with eye area in general, so waiting to see what they say.

Dr Kirk is the one that does eyes there in case you're interested
