1. Rhinoplasty (silicon) & tip plasty (ear cartilage) | 4 years ago
My skin was really thin so I could see the outline of the ear cartilage. I did a simple revision 6 mths post op by putting a product - AlloDerm, over the cartilage. Although it solved the problem, I ended up with a sharper and more ‘Barbie’ nose than intended, but it’s alright. Silicon is still good so far, no warping.

I the improvement in my face shape but it comes with a cost: My lower lip and chin are still numb, there’s a flat area near either sides of my jawline where bone was removed, and mild sagging in the jowls. I did my FG together with FC. After 6 months, my left under-eye still looked ‘puffy’, and I believed it was overfilled rather than being swollen. Since I also had inherent eye bags, I went for under eyes fats repositioning.

2. FG touch-up & under eyes transconjuctival fats repositioning | 3 years ago
I’m happy with my FG. Until today, I retain some fats on my upper eyelid, temples, forehead, upper cheeks, nasolabial folds, but not so much in my lower cheeks. There is a remarkable improvement in my under eye areas, corrected my left eye, but it took 1.5 years for a persistent swelling under my right eye to totally disappear!

After stopping PS for about 3 years, I’m now looking at thread lifting and FG.

Some lessons learnt:
1. Docs may not always get it right the first time, all the time. Know your risks, be mentally/financially prepared for revisions.
2. Healing is a b****, persistent swelling can last a year or more.
3. Take a break, don’t do PS continuously.
