danbam Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Hello everyone! I hope you all are taking care of yourselves and staying diligent during these times, there's a lot of uncertainty going around but please do remember to pay attention to your physical and mental health! Being stressed about surgery is one thing but getting sick is just too much haha. As the title would suggest I am posting a 6 month update on my results from Uvom so far that I got in the summer of 2019, and just some of my thoughts on the process. (If you guys want to take a look at my original uvom posts feel free to take a look at: https://beautyhacker.com/forums/topic/1013618-uvom-plastic-surgery-danbams-korean-adventure-and-tips-advice/ That has a lot of my general impressions and tips that were really helpful for me when I went to Korea so yeah! My impressions: During this time, the hard feeling in my nose has decreased a lot. It feels kind of numb still down to the tip, but I've gotten used to it. I still like the height projection and it seems dramatic in pictures but to be honest, when I went to go see my friends and family, the only person who was able to tell a difference was my Mom LOL. I actually get a lot of compliments on my nose when I go places, a notable time being when I was getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist, and the operating dentist was talking to her assistant and saying my nose bridge was high for my ethnicity (yikes)! For the most part, I like my new nose, I'm still getting adjusted but I'm really hoping that the goretex is going to stay healthy for a long time. I do have to note that my nostrils are uneven, but from what I've heard from Uvom, surgery can't completely fix asymmetry. I don't really mind that much since it's not that visible, but if you're more worried about it, please do let Unice or Dr.Lee know if you're consulting with Uvom. Hopefully all is well, both for my nose and this current pandemic, please let me know if any of you have any questions and I'll be happy to give you any tips on surgery, my experience, or even just questions about Korea in general! I can recommend some pretty good spots to eat or things to do so let me know! Best of luck on your surgery adventures! P.S Pleaseeee don't look too hard at my pre-pictures, I legit look like a potato and my sister did me so dirty with the picture taking. Just look at the post op LOL. Socially distant, Danbam
