He didn’t explain anything he’s doing and would push my face aggressively to take measurements with this metal device that also goes into your ears and presses very hard. He never told me I had drains in my mouth and what he was doing when he was suctioning then and taking them out. The girls who works there in the overnight area are really mean too.i told them I can’t breathe with the rubber bands wiring my mouth shut so hard and if they could help me and I am having an anxiety attack and they replied I don’t care if you can breathe doctor said no. And left my room. I was drooling every five minutes for two weeks and my mouth was so dry I had to swish water in it every few minutes for a week I hope I can recover and save money to fix this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thank you so much for the warning and please don’t think like your life is ruined now I’m sure that everything can be fixed. Unfortunately there’s a lot of botched surgeries exist, but people fix it. It was so painful to undergo jaw surgery so to think about it makes me nervous and I can’t get my jaw he shaved off back. Yes I would text Suyen daily on WhatsApp and I said how come I ask daily to talk to Dr. Oh and he won’t she said it’s not common In South Korea to talk to the doctor after and that’s not normal. I said I’m begging you and asking to talk to him I know it’s not right my chin won’t grow. My lower jaw is so sucked backward it is scary. I questioned if there’s a shadow doctor too. The worst is doing a procedure that I didn’t consent to. yes I have a lot to live for, it’s hard to wake up daily and regret my choice to go to South Korea to see Dr. oh So I am glad others can learn from my experience. castro-jes Posted April 7, 2020 Share Posted April 7, 2020 I think on your before it’s quite clear that your mouth was too protruded and according to your scans your bones now look way better… Am I the only one who noticed that? I got two-jaw and mini V-line with dr.Oh almost 6 months ago and had almost the same bite as you did (except, my lower jaw was too backward and only 4 of my teeth in total touched each other, it was a huge problem for me). So, the recovery was brutal and no one hides it, swallowing during the first few weeks was so difficult that I could barely eat some soup but everyone’s saying the same, it’s a two-jaw girl, what did you expect? Rubbers….ugh… I hated them a lot! It was really difficult for me to learn self-tie method and in the beginning it took me up to 1 hour to put them back but after few weeks I became a pro They did hurt a lot, but Dr.Oh said that they are very important in fixing jaws in their new position. So, through all pain and discomfort I kept wearing them. Also, every night my jaws shrank so hard that I thought that I’ll lose all my teeth. I worried about that a lot but Dr.Oh said that it’s because of my muscles memory (I used to push my lower jaw forward my whole life) so that makes sense. And btw, just like you, I used to think that he moved too backward my jaws, bc my chin looked exactly as your now but he didn’t. It really looked like that only bc of swelling. I also had to get some botox injections in my chin to relax a little my muscles and it did help you can try too. So, I don’t really care what other people say about Regen or Dr.Oh but for me he’s the best. I contacted lot of his patients before going their and all of them were amazed how experienced he is. Maybe it’s really too early to judge your results and maybe…you really need to wait a bit longer? Did you really get the surgery? Make a post and show your scans and before and after photos. You can clearly see my chin is too backward so it’s not the swelling, of my chin is swollen it will become more backward over time. And the scans show he did not advance my chin much and that he sawed off my jaw with a full v line without my consent. maybe he sent you to write a review since you just joined the forum today. Yes he told me about the rubber bands but to wear them with the wires. Then after knocking out my veneer twice during anesthesia he said I shoild just use the nails in my gums and took off the wires. Then he refused to send me the wires after I bled daily and my gums decided for 2 weeks saying I should endure the pain. Only after I said I would write a review they agreed to overnight ship me the wires which cost them 100 dollars and they tried to make me pay for it after giving them 25,000 dollars already . That shows you how greedy he is. Also I referred my partner who got 10,000 in surgeries and has a bald spot now and sees no difference. His review will be coming soon. stargaze123 Posted April 7, 2020 Author Share Posted April 7, 2020 Yes thank you exactly that is the point I am trying to tell me I have told Suyen and him multiple times almost daily that I never consented to a full v line and my partner was there the next day when he said he changed it to a full v line instead of mini v line like I agreed when I was under anesthesia. The paperwork I said said mini v line! He was smiling like he did me a favor and maybe he usually charges more for it but he “helped” me out to make me look “pretty” I never even thought I had a wide jaw and I don’t. It was the maxillofacial oral surgeon that really showed me how much he sawed off of my jaw and said it’s very dramatic. When I look and feel at my jaw and the scans the jaw and teeth are so close together the bottom face is so short now. I never said I want to look like all the Korean girls. I showed him pics of a Vietnamese girl with a chin and a Taiwanese girl with a chin! I said did you design it so I can look like the photos I showed you and he said yes I did you will look like them! Like I may be happy with my result but wouldn't go into a thread like this saying that I don't care what people say my doctor is the best. Anyway, I'm so sorry for what you're going through. It's painful just to read it. I also considered Regen for my FC surgery but Dr. Oh was busy the day I was in Seoul for F2F consultation so I skipped Regen and had my surgery done at another clinic. My partner didn’t have good results with the eyebrow lift, thread lift and he did under chin lipo that was not needed Also my gums I showed them these photos of me bleeding and they ignored me until I said I’d write a review. My gums are permanently receded and I’ve seen a gum specialist who said I need a gum graft See before and after my gums. On front four they are now higher and the gum loss is permanent I begged them daily and he said I should endure the pain and criss cross them. stargaze123 Posted April 7, 2020 Author Share Posted April 7, 2020 Also here is a photo of how they knocked my veneer out twice After the liposuction and then it was replaced with a temporary which I paid 100 dollars out of pocket for and then 5 days later they knocked it out again and I had to get it replaced again! They didn’t take responsibility to say what happened to me under iv anesthesia and why they needed to put a breathing tube in me. I saw your before pictures and you looked beautiful without the surgery... I think that you would need at least 6 month to 1 year to recover completely, and hope you won't have to go under similar experience if you have to have a revision procedure... I don’t know why I let him make me believe I needed the two jaw surgery I should’ve just gotten a chin implant or a genioplasty. This is a very invasive procedure and the consultant Suyen kept saying it’s a normal surgery they do all the time and the swelling isn’t bad and the self tie rubber bands are easy but you can’t talk with a wafer In the middle and when the wafer is gone and just the rubber bands you still can’t talk! Too much blood, tears and time wasted from taking a week off work for my mouth infection to going to oral surgeon appointment, physical theory’s , dentists and different orthodontists There’s not one picture I’ve taken since where I feel normal I almost don’t want to look at the camera anymore I will do a lot of research to correct this .thanks for your support I want to move on from this but dr oh needs to take responsibility and give.
