user7483974
Hello! I'm 21 and I've been looking to get DES in Korea for some number of years. I've had a sibling get their DES + ptosis + epi done at Teuim around eight years ago and they're very happy with the results and speaks very highly of Dr. Kwon (mentioned Dr. Kwon tends to be pretty straightforward). Naturally, due to this I've always assumed I too would get DES with Dr. Kwon at Teuim but after reading the forums on Purse blog I'm questioning whether I should still have my mind set on Dr. Kwon. I was told by my sibling that Teuim was pretty popular early 2010s and Dr. Kwon has a myriad of publications and papers written on everything eye related. In the past 4ish years, there's very little conversation around Teuim. Also, is it common for a plastic surgeon to lose their touch and/or get shaky hands and deteriorating vision after many years in the field? Or would the years of expertise only solidify their skills despite age? I did send in my pictures via email to Teuim and they recommended: "1. Double eyelid surgery including Ptosis correction (Incisional method is recommended) : 3.0m KRW 2. Epicanthoplasty : 1.4m KRW" I've read the few conversations mentioning Teuim and Dr. Kwon on here but didn't read anything concrete that would immediately raise alarm bells, so I just wanted to come forward and ask if anyone has any thoughts on Teuim. Upon reading every single post on Purse blog, I've heard sooo many positive things about Dr. Seo at Machimpyo and was considering going for a consultation. Any thoughts on this would also be greatly appreciated! Also upon reading the posts on Beauty Hacker, I now know Purse blog is not very reliable hha If there isn't any major red flags/scandals/botches in the past couple years regarding Dr. Kwon at Teuim, I'm fully ready to commit to Dr. Kwon (this certainty is mostly backed by my sibling's experience with Dr. Kwon).
