i’ve been looking into LASIK for a while now and wanted to find out where actual Koreans go, not just the usual gangnam clinics that are all over the ads for foreigners. started digging around on naver (with a lot of help from papago lol) and noticed that a lot of locals seem to go to bigger hospital-level eye centers outside of the gangnam area

서울신세계안과 (Shinsegae Eye Clinic) near miasageori station kept coming up, seems like they get a ton of local patients and have a decent rep for LASIK/LASEK and even ICL stuff. i reached out on kakao and they actually connected me to someone who spoke english, which was a nice surprise

has anyone here gotten LASIK or LASEK done there recently? how was the screening process, tech they use, overall experience, pricing, and if they try to upsell or not? just trying to get a better sense of what to expect before i book a consult.
