Wow I did not know that. I ate tons of spicy food before and after surgery. I was eating spicy seafood soup on day 5 lol. I did notice that after eating bibimbap with too much spicy soybean paste, a pimple developed inside my mouth where the stitches were, so I cut back.

Hahaha! What procedure did you have?
A pimple in your mouth?! I've never heard of such a thing!! LOLs

From what I've been reading, post rhino patients have to avoid spicy food because it increases nasal blood flow and nasal oozing/bleeding. So I figure... if it's not spicy to me, it's not spicy food right?

Then again, Shane got an infection and had to remove his implant.. which is quite serious. I probably shouldn't risk it... But it makes me super excited to hear that you got away with it!!

I have read through Purse Forum, Cozycot, soompi, sg expats but found little information on septhoplasty with rhinoplasty. So came up with a solution for my nose.. So I decided to go to an ENT specialist for my deviated septum/crooked nose and then to a plastic surgeon for the external appearance of my nose. There is nothing I am unhappy about my nose just that is slanted to one side more.

Hi. Just sent you pic, looking forward to seeing your pic, also replied to your PM. You are soooo lucky to have not got infection, I lost count how many times ID told me to stay off spicy food and if it wasn't them it was Zoe reminding me so the message was loud and clear, I wonder why Banobagi didn't tell you this, it's really poor of them. I do know having hired Zoe as my translator I got a lot more tips from the nurses than the next foreigner. I am still staying away from anything spicy, seafood and alcohol but it's 4 weeks post op next week, curfew over and I'm gonna really pig out and get totally blotto!!

I do look different of course but personally I don't think I look that different, after all they let me through customs at the airport with no questions asked lol. My family hasn't seen me yet, only one family member know! As for my friends I told a few of them and of course had to tell my staff I employ, they all laughed, not because I look weird, laughing is a natural reaction to surprise!

I am waiting for all the swelling to subside then I'm going to do that big 'surprise' thing. I am arranging a huge kitchen party (I just had an extension built) and will invite a lot of people, I wonder how many will come straight out and say 'have you had surgery?' and how many will say 'you're looking well' haha. Can't wait!

Since you haven't revealed your entire face (cheekbones/jawline/etc.) It's hard to tell exactly how much you've changed.. But definitely, the no-make up before surgery picture and make up plastic surgery picture looks drastically different... You now look like an Asian Megan Fox! If I had the money, I would pursue an Asian Audrey Hepburn!! But since my eyes are really small and cheekbones nonexistent, I imagine that would take multiple procedures and more money than I can afford... hahaha

Please tell us what happens at your party! None of my friends (except for two) know that I'm planning on getting my nose done. I want to know how people generally react

Nooope, not yet.
But I've scheduled consultations with ID and BK's Dr. Hong. When I mentioned Dr. Shin, the English rep told me that I should meet Dr. Hong for rhino.

I think I'll visit one or two other clinics, but haven't a clue which. Still waiting for clinics to reply to my emails...

Now I know your purse forum handle, so I won't have to refer to you as "Y', like some type of math variable. haha.

I hope your workload isn't too stressful! I can't imagine 4 jobs! So do I understand correctly..? you're getting the two-jaw and no rhino?
