best plastic surgery clinics in Korea

Hi Cousin Iaan! I didn't see you at our last family reunion! hahaha

I'm going in September for rhino, and maybe a zygoma reduction if I can afford it... Although I'm having second thoughts... We'll see what happens once I get there.. hahha

I remember reading that you're planning to get two-jaw sometime right? Good luck! Everything on this forum has taught me that, two jaw is a difficult procedure to recover from... I hope it pays off! hahaha I don't know if that constitutes as a pun... but it was unintentional.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! It seems like Grand is quite popular! There's a forumer on the Asian Nose Job 3 thread who underwent surgery just last week at Grand!

Wow... I know I've read this again and again, but when you list all of your procedures like that, I'm always shocked.

Well, what's a couple of weeks of swelling when you've got a lifetime (or at least before you get old) of beauty! ahahhaa

Soft silicon?

Would you share more info on it? Are there hard n soft silicon?

Also, is USD6000 reasonable for primary rhino (BK Hospital)?

Now its time to prepare for my trip to seoul next month and for my nose and zygoma revision surgery. I hope i would be able to document my experience as part of my website launch. Keeping my finger cross

Time for a little update on my friend primary eyelid surgery at BK. its been two month since my friend had her surgery done by dr shin. So far so good. There is still some asymmetry between her left and right eyes, but compare to her pre operative photo, you can clearly see a big difference. I will continue to keep everyone updated on her result.

Its the same my dear. When i did my primary cheek bone reduction, the surgeon refer to it as malar reduction. When i was over at BK the first time in jan, i was surprise to know that korean clinic refer malar as zygoma. So its the same. It really depend on which one roll off your tongue more smoothly

Correction, it's only been 5 weeks not 8 weeks. She had surgery on Wednesday 13th June give or take a day. I'm only 6 weeks post op this Friday and she had surgery a few days after me.

Hey Shane - thanks for posting the pic! Could you please let us know how many weeks are the pics after op? You mentioned 5 weeks (but are ALL of them 5 weeks post op)? Or are they weekly post op pics?

Thanks!

About 2 weeks ago, I had a really good consultation at Grand. Jiwon was my interpreter. She said she spent most of her life in Canada before moving back to Seoul so her English was excellent. I was really torn choosing which clinic because I really liked Jiwon. It was really disappointing with ITEM coz they didn't even measure me and the consultation was just a few minutes. Grand was really thorough. I was measured, then had consultation with the 1st consultant then the doctor came in for a 2nd consultation. The quote they gave me was pretty good and kept it at my budget (with negotiations). I spent over an hour there. They explained everything in detail to me and answered every question. I felt really cared for there. However, I didn't end up choosing Grand. The reason is that I'm doing lipo and really wanted to find the best place for it. 365mc specializes in Lipo, that's all they do there. Although they don't offer any sort of discount even if u pay in cash, It is still the same. It was fair coz no matter what, their price was lower and also included more areas than I initially thought. I thought about it for a while and even taking the cost factor away, I felt I would be in better hands with a specialist in lipo. Their after care included a lot more treatments and very thorough about what each person may need post ops.

If I was doing any other surgeries I would've chosen Grand. I felt very comfortable and still feel confident in their doctors. This is my first PS and it's only lipo. I figured I'll test the waters first and then maybe next year go back for eyes. I am scheduled for my surgery in Nov. I've already booked hotels. I'm so excited and can't wait for my trip. Going to stay approximately 3 weeks. Anyone planning to be in Seoul then? I'd love some company! I'm even thinking about taking classes while in my post op period. Any one know if that will be ok? Interested in some culinary courses while I'm there.

Ah Shane! As helpful as always!
If they're the same, I don't know why this consultant told me to get malar surgery in addition to zygoma reduction... :/

Hmm... she told me its been two months. I guess i lost track of when she had her surgery, which is odd cause i had the surgery the same day as her. I guess i kinda lost track myself.

Honestly speaking, i never keep track of when the pic was taken cause sll the pic was sent to me at random. Everytime i recieved or requested for her pic, she would send them to me and i would simplly collect them and arrange it using pic collage. I say its close to about 2 months since she had her surgery. I could be wrong. Since she doesn't visit the forum, it fall on me to share her pic with everyone here. Each of the pic past the first one is collected about a week or so in between. I barely keep track, heck i barely keep track of my own surgery LOL.

The cheek bone is made up of three section, the arch, angle and body. Usually the angle is mention together with the body of the zygoma. So really its only the arch and body. Malar reduction are usually refer to the lateral arch, which is the cheek bone on the side of your head while zygoma reduction could refer to more than the lateral arch, it could represent the angle and body of the zygoma. So when malar reduction is mention in a seperation sentense as malar reduction, it usually mean arch and body reduction. I could be wrong though
