glad you gotten a chance to see anna today. how is she lately? i spoken to her recently and she eagerly await my arrival this friday so she can see me. any who, anna is great personality. her english is fluent and easy to understand which makes it extremely easy to communicate with her.

from the way you describe dr hong, it seem like you develop a very good connection with him, better than any of the surgeon that you have met. and that's really important when it comes to selecting the surgeon for your case. you need to feel connected with him/her and he/she need to put your best interest at heart, that mean only suggesting procedure that you really need. alot of what dr hong suggest recommend i agree with my self, although i'm not sure about the fat graft for your paranasal since from the picture you sent me, there were no depression in that part of your face. but i could be wrong. but pretty much everything else i agree with. in light of your pleasant experience with dr hong today, i've decide to pay dr hong a visit as well after i meet with dr shin. anna is always pushing dr hong for my facial contouring. i never felt comfortable having anyone else touch my face at BK other than dr shin. but i will be open minded about it and pay him a visit when i drop by on friday. the best part about it is, if we both decide on BK for our surgery, she will give us up to 10 days stay at the guest house. the last time i was there consulting for my 2 jaws, she offer to let me stay at their guest house the entire time i am there which is pretty cool.

The tubes behind my ears were removed the following day in the morning so it was less than 24 hours. I don't know why they don't try to numb you first, I guess because it takes time, numbing cream takes around 30 minutes to work well but I do know if I ever have surgery again I will be bringing numbing cream with me!

you have to understand that the pain isn't topical like having laser hair removal or fractional skin resurfacing. the pain is the result of having the tube pull out from behind your ear. so no amount of numbing cream is going to minize the pain. the only way is through a local jab which takes time to take affect. the jab it self is going to sting and since you have tube coming behind of each ears, its going to sting twice. i think the best way to prevent any pain is to instruct the surgeon not to insert the tube too deep. i have had the tube pull from behind the ear twice. the first time the tube was inserted very deep so when the surgeon yank it out, it hurt like hell. the second time the tube were more shallow and the surgeon who removed it, did it very slowly. so the second time when the tube were pull out of me, it was very tolerable. less painful. so thats my advice. ask that the tube to be inserted shallow and that the surgeon pull the tube out very slowly.

I'm planning to get jaw reduction surgery. I think I'll need the split osteotomy with long cut. Dr. Park at ID recommends vline, but other doctors says my chin doesn't need any altering. I really don't want a extremely pointy chin like some of these vline b&a pictures. But overall, whatever will give me a better jawline

I also am planning to get double eyelid surgery at Teiums. Interested in non-incisional method, but will most likely opt for partial incision to avoid the chance of it getting undone.

Wow, thx for the info. I won't be carrying a lot of cash, since I intend to pay the surgery with my visa card. I know I have to pay 10% tax, but It kind of makes me feel more comfortable not to wear that much cash with me. What do you think?

well it really depend on the procedure you're going to be having. its not about the 10% taxes that some clinic impose upon you. it has more to do with the exchange rate then anything else. if you use your credit card to pay for the surgery, apart from the 10%, you're also potentially losing out on the difference in the exchange. i don't know about the exchange rate at your local bank, but my local rate suck. if its a small amount then it really doesn't matter all that much, but if over 10k, the difference does add up. since i know i'm going to spend more than 10k on both my zygoma and nose revision, i prefer to pay by cash. you can get an excellent exchange rate from the casino. so i'm planning to bring my local currencies and exchange it there. i pay with my credit card back in june when i had my lateral 3D but it was a smaller amount so i didn't mind using my credit card. if you really concern about carrying some much cash on you, you can try bringing half cash and the other half you can pay with credit card.

For pumpkin juice, I think you can have as many as you want but I had 3 packs a day, and for aloe, I had one full bottle (500ml) a day.

I thought you said dr Shin advice you not to do your zygoma so soon that's why you only plan to get nose revision with him. So, maybe Dr Hong will not do it too, anyhow I think no harm consulting Dr Hong and seek second opinion if both of us decided to do it at BK the extra stay will be bonus.

Btw did you informed BK and ID that I am a friend of yours prior to my consultation?
