best plastic surgery clinics in Korea

Recommended Posts

actually i am not rushing into anything. the last time i was there in june, i had already spoken with dr park and dr shin regarding my zygoma and nose revision. i am basically going back again to verified a few things before making my decision. i assure you that i took my sweet time before making my decision and even now i have yet to really decide on where to do my nose and cheek. if all goes according to plan, i will have my cheek done at ID and my nose at BK. but it could still be nose cheek at ID or nose cheek at BK depending on how my consultation with dr hong goes  anything could happen once i am there.

ok, i will try to make it there early but if i don't see you, then i will see you at ID at 12 in the afternoon

It's very easy to get around the subway is really 2 min. away from your door steps and the transfer station is only 1 station away so its fairly quick to get where your going. There's an app called Seoul Subway it maps out your route it's pretty handy. I did my nose. Don't worry about staying coup up...I was out eating sushi the morning after ....yum. :roflmfao: Make sure you keep Jin's number on you that way if you take a cab and don't know how to get back you can have the cab driver call him and ask for directions...i had that happen to me :/ hahhaa. BTW, bring a small microwavable bowl and 1 set of spoon and fork and cup or you could go to the e-mart. That way if you get to go food you have something to put it in and microwave. I'm weird...I always bring my own towel and bed sheets when traveling but that's up too you.

some clinic does accept currencies other than KRW. i pay using my local currencies when i had my 2 jaws at ID. but i wasn't easy since none of the bank in korea acknowledge or even seen my currencies before. fortunately ID were able to accept it base on same exchange rate as singapore currencies. this time around i am bringing Singapore currencies instead of my own. since SGD is at par with my own currencies, i can bank in any left over money i have left after my trip to korea.

How could you drink 500ml of aloe a day??
I tried aloe vera a few weeks back, and on the bottle, it recommended to drink only 1cap a day..though it was nothing to do for post surgery/swelling but more for detox/wellbeing... I had to stop after a few days, as i started to get tummy cramp..
Unless the aloe you drink, is very diluted and different...

Hi Shane77,
Was wondering if you will know if i can exchange Euro to KRW in seoul? Particularly at the casino you mentioned in previous posts. I think, exchanging euro to USD, then to KRW, i will loose lots in exchange.

Where are you doing for your surgery?? I know BK do as I have been there before and they accepted my GBP. ID do as well as I have emailed them. I am not sure if Grand do, i think they said only KRW or USD. most prefer KRW or USD, or even SGD. But you can always email to ask

Around the second week in April. There are two other forumers coming along from other countries. As you know I will be flying with my friends from Heathrow. This time I will fly with Asiana Air, last time I flew with Korean Air. Both are great companies but Asiana Air has won the prize of best airline recently and it boasts the most legroom on any commercial flight apparently!

Bear in mind when they convert whatever currency you are using to KRW they will use the current BUY RATE not sell rate so you will be a couple of hundred quid down before you even start. There's no point haggling for a good price on your surgery if some or all of what you've saved is lost on currency conversion.

Opp~ i guess i should've been more specific. Although i will be carrying singapore currencies with me to seoul doesn't mean that's where i'm currently situated  just that my currencies is at par with singapore currencies and since almost every bank in seoul doesn't recognize my currencies, i have no choice but to
Bring singapore note with me. Singapore note is widely accepted in exchange along side our own currencies. Beside, even if i were living in singapore, i still wouldn't be able to meet you because i am leaving for seoul today ;)
