yay! I'm so happy for you both! Yup, I've asked a couple of people what I should do and everyone was like, "Go tell your boyfriend." I know I'm going to get the "You don't need surgery. You look beautiful the way you are" talk but we've been going out for almost 3 years and I wouldn't want to lie or keep secrets from him. Thank you so much for your response! This made me feel more reassured :noworry:. I told him I was going to Korea on the phone...I didn't tell him what it was for yet. He was like, "OH COOL! Can I come too!? haha

honesty is the best policy girls. i am single at the moment so have no one other than my parent to fess up. when i first over haul my face back in 2009, i did it with out the consent of my parent who were clueless about my intention. there were just curious where i needed to be away for 3 whole week to a country that i had never visited before in my life. a few days before i return, i call my mom telling her that i had surgery to fix my teeth so expect my face to be pretty swollen. my parent is a traditionalist and would never approve of me having plastic surgery. but i was determine to do it anyway. nowaday my parent are little more accepting seeing the wonder that plastic surgery had done for my face and my confident. she even asking me for advice about face lift and stuff. so you're going to recieved a lot of back lash about your decision to do plastic surgery and while i took a different approach and choose not to tell my parent about it, i would suggest telling your better hald your intention. take a from a guy who know...men take great pride on having a beautiul lady in their company. it brushes their ego even more to recieved compliment from other on how beautitul their girlfriend/wife is. so be honest but be persistent at the same time. beauty is a journey that required a lot of pain, time and sacrifice. i think katty griffen sum it best when she said that what doesn't kill you (plastic surgery) makes you beautiful

If you're going to pay for a long stay, you may as well maximize your visit. If getting genio is on your future agenda, I'd do it on this trip so you won't have to pay hundreds/thousands for lodging AGAIN...

It is very safe in Seoul, the crime rate is very very low. I had no issues with anyone be it in a group or out on my own as a single female, you'll feel secure there for sure. If you are new on here, try reading as many pages as you can, from say 2 months back. By the time you've read all the pages, you probably won't have any questions to ask!

don't worry about it. seoul is a relatively safe city. but i would still take the nessesary precaution just in case. you can never be too careful especially if you're carrying around ten of thousand of dollar on you. now i know you suppose to declare at custom if you have more than 10k usd on you. but the last time i carry that much cash on me was back in april when i did my 2 jaws surgery. i never declared it even though i was carrying close to that amount in my own currencies. this time i'll be carrying a whole lot less than 10K usd on me so i'm not going to declare it because you never what might happen. i'm not trying to give you the wrong impression that seoul isn't safe. but this is the precaution i take to protect my assest. another thing that i do is seperate my cash from my wallet when i am out in public. so what do is i seperate some cash my wallet and put it in my pants pocket. that way i avoid having to constantly take out my wallet whenever i am out shopping. the less time you having to reach for your wallet the less chance you going to be rob. i pick up this little technique from a surgeon friend in thailand so i've been doing it ever since. again, to reiterate. seoul is a beautiful city with a very very low crime rate. as long as you don't flash your cash around, you have nothing to worry about.

You sound like your wise Mom!

I would whole heartedly agree not only for the savings in flight and accommodation but also the down time which is also financial due to time off work so it's a saving all round, plus negotiating better prices for multiple surgeries of course!

Your time is nearing..... bet you're getting well excited!

Hi Everyone, been reading this thread for the past 2-3 weeks and decided to register an account so I can ask for advise.

Kinda early to be planning but I will be going to Seoul in Jan for my Ptosis correction, double eyelid and epi.

Have shortlisted Teuim, Banobagi and Regen.

Was wondering if anyone have any reviews on Dr Joung from Banobagi? I emailed them asking which doctors will be more specialise in Ptosis and they told me Dr Jooung will be good.

And also, can someone please give me the email address of Regen? I tried their website but can't find their email address at all!

I'll be sure to try it if i ever get round to travelling to Bangkok.

I've not got any surgeries planned this year unfortunately. Its all gonna be next year. I've set myself a target of May as the earliest possible time barring any financial hiccups.

Sorry everyone I miss the prime time news reporting! Internet connection was weak here the whole day. Ok today is BKDY consultation day, as usual saw the consultant Anna as per recommend by Good old Shane. My impression of Anna was , she bubbly and easy to talk to. First she sat me down and ask what kind of procedures I would like to have ,she note it down but will only give me a quote after seeing Dr Hong for his opinion.

Dr Hong is a very animated person when he speak and he can draw really well  when he tried to explain to me what is a profile of a beauty he drew out the perfect angle then he porceed to draw out my less less less than perfect profile  I wasnt sad because that was a very blunt truth! Next he explain what can be done to enhance it. The whole time while explaining he keep writing and drawing on the consultation sheet, it make me felt like I'm sitting in a art class and he is molding a new face for me , of cause he occasionally show some photos on his computer to make me understand more on what are the result he want to achive for me. Among the three consultations I had I find DR Hong was the most interesting somehow I felt that he can read my mind, he advised procedures in all the right department even without me saying anything, by the time he done talking and ask me if I have any question I already speechless .... Oh my only question was $$$$ but of cause I know that question is something he not going to have an answer ...lol

I am sorry I can't put in too much information on the detail of the session because Dr Hong really said a lot of things but that was all cater for my condition so whoever see him might have a different set of problem. Long story short he crossed out zygoma because the result I get will not be significant so v line to reduce my jaw angle (bingo) chin t cut with geino (bingo) he is going to reuse my fats to pump up the paranasal area , reduce the mascle mass on the jaw , lastly rhino the lift my nose tip and 3mm implant to rise my bridge. All in all 14 mil it may sound a bit off my budget but a great artist work is always priceless ! I cross my fingers and pray that his work is as good as his drawing if I should go ahead with him. I am waiting for my simulation photos to come back then work on reducing the price with Anna , even at 14 mil to squeeze her for a forehead fat graft will be a bonus..

Ok that's all folks! I am so done with consultation..... Not going anymore but I must said all three was top of my list and they all come out well .... Gosh really hard to decide, I wonder how ppl can go 6 consultations ? So freaking tired! But I must said this forum do us good at least help many zero down to the few reputable hospital/ clinic otherwise we will be lost in the sea of thousand ps clinic.

I'm counting my blessing till date let just hope that my lucky star will see me through the whole ordeal and give my a happily ever after ending
