Yeah I went straight back to the hotel after my surgery. Dr kwon does not talk much, maybe his English is not that great. So u need to do all the talking and ask all your questions! I had bandage on my brow as i did brow lift. Not all over your head. If you are just doing double eyelid, then maybe a tiny bandage to protect the wound but will be removed the next day. Good luck!

Praying for the best outcome for you
Dr. Kwon doesn't speak English very well, yet he always tries his best to answer your questions. Having a translator on sight is really helpful  not only to converse with the doc, but also with the nurses..
Btw, the stitches removal is very painful.. I must warn you.. no matter how painful it is, do not move! not even a millimeter  the nurse is equipped with a sharp tool so if you move in pain, the sharp tool might cut you.
And she doesn't speak English.

You can do the hot compress after 3 days. Do you have a water boiler in your room? Usually to make tea or coffee.. Hotel Highland had this appliance in my room.. it was pretty convenience... boiled water in a minute.. and then I soaked the compress pack in for a while.
I'm not sure if the hot water from the tap is hot enough.. but it's still better than nothing. Or ask the room service.

And remember to put a piece of tissue on top of your eyes. This is to prevent water to get into your wounds.

Dont get the compress too hot.. it's not good for the wounds.

You can also alternate the hot compress & the cold ones.

You should eat a lot of nutritious food for your skin to heal the wounds. I drank about 1L of orange juice & 1L of aloe vera juice everyday during my stay there. Force your body a bit to do light work out in your room. It will bring positive energy to your body

Dear Shane77,

I just emailed BK to get quotes for double eyelid surgery and eye bag removal. Also thinking of fixing my teeth to give it a nicer smile as I think my current veneer teeth which I had for 5 years make me look weird.

Weirdly BK wasn't able to take me any info on teeth procedure and when I asked how many days of accommodation will be provided, they replies that eye surgery is a simple procedure and do not require any stay at their guest room so in other words no accommodation provided. I was quoted USD1.5k for double eyelid and USD1.5k for eyebag removal.

Also I requested for Dr Shin to undertake my eyelid and eyebag surgery, but this qns wasn't answered at all.

Qns:
1. How much was your double eyelid surgery?
2. Did you confirm a date for procedure before consultation and paid for deposit? I was being asked to pay deposit to confirm procedure.
3. How to appoint Dr Shin as my surgeon?
4. How many days of stay was provided for you when you did only eye surgery with BK?
5. Do you know if they do any dental surgery? As they seem to be avoiding my qns on dental surgery.

I am quite mentally prepared to visit end of Oct next month for all the procedures done. Very excited and very scared. Want to just put all my hopes on BK. Fingers crossed they won't let me down.

Cheers.

OMG I'm so dreading the stitch removal now. Yeah She Doesnt speak any english. Did u not ask for numbing cream? Can I ask for it? As dr kwon wont be around on sunday, what should i do/prepare after the stitches come out? Also someone told me there's some kind of machine at the clinics to help de-swell, do u know anything abt it? If they do, they are definitely not offering this procedure to me. Is pineapple juice any good? I just got some from Hyundai department store. I will go get some orange juice from the minimarts. I'm really sick of eating bread and sandwiches, is it ok to have Korean BBQ, bulgogi, sweet and sour stuff? Thanks!

As far as I am aware, dr kwon specialises in eye surgery only, if not mistaken his partner does rhino. Not sure abt chin surgery, wouldn't be my first choice though.

Ic.. Sigh.. I intend to have all these at 1 go. But if they r not specialised in that surgery, im reluctant. Will have all my consultations on the 19th and see how it goes. Thanks for sharing. Please keep me updated with the healing process of ur beautiful eyes.

Hmmm..... face is smaller But I must say there is room for improvement. I like my new chin because I used to have a weak chin and my profile look terrible but now it look more balance and feminine after the doctor bring out the chin and bring the nose tip up. I may go back in Jan to top up my fat graft ( if I need ) keep u updated and we may fly out fr SG together  I prefer CNY period.
