best plastic surgery clinics in Korea

Here is my latest eye-volution pic collage. The difference between the last and previous eye is that the previous pic i still have stitches in the corner of my ear and the last one i didn't. Still plenty of healing to go ~

just go with whomever you felt most comfortable with. i'm sure dr gim is a wonderful surgeon and will do an equally impressive job with your eye as dr shin would. when i reached BK, i was directed to Dr shin and was immediately taken in by his thorough examination of my case. he knew exactly my concern and know how to fix it. and the great thing about DR shin is that you don't feel obligated to have the surgery done by him. dr shin was one of my choices for 2 jaws, but end up having the surgery with ID instead. when i went back to see Dr shin with my friend for her eyelid consultation, he complimented the wonderful job that dr park did on my jaw. that really made me feel good knowing that dr shin is very biase toward surgeons from other clinic.

i pretty settle on 2 clinic for any future procedure that i do or recommend to other people. for things such as facial contouring, ID would be my first choice and for procedure such as eyes and the nose, i won't feel comfortable with one else other than dr shin. even if i have to go under the G.A twice to have my nose and zygoma done at a different clinic, i would.

so my advice to you is talk to both dr shin and gim before making your decision. i would assume that both shin and gim practice the same technique when performing eyelid surgery. its really all down to how comfortable you are with either one of them.

Actually if you use 2 clinics and have the operations separately V line is performed under general anaesthetic and the eyes is IV sedation so you would not have GA twice, Shane is referring to Rhino and Zygoma, operations you are not considering. Of course if you have both procedures at the same clinic at the same time then it will be under GA but if you do choose to use 2 clinics be prepared for a lot of running around for check ups, you will need at least 3 at one clinic and 3 at the other and this is time consuming.

I have been listening to both sides and here is my take on it. Shane, I did sooo much homework that I could clearly see it was a simulation and assumed everyone else would come to the same conclusion, obviously not. Gumshoo, I can see where you are coming from but if you had done as much homework as the rest of us then you too would have recognised this instantly.

I can find no other other website that gives a person nervously looking for plastic surgery in a foreign country with the same level of advice and friendliness as this forum does. This forum answers all questions poised, the majority of answers will come from Shane, he has had over 44 surgeries and can tell you what to expect, he has more experience than the rest of us put together. His answers are frank and to the point. He has helped many many nervous people put their minds at rest and to overcome their fears and realise their dreams for a perfect face / body.

Personally I can vouch that all the advice he has given me has been accurate and true and I can not thank him enough for all the time he has taken to help me, when I first had my operations he was there for me, this was priceless. I sincerely hope Shane will continue to be the driver of this thread and help many more people make their dreams into reality.

I would also like to point out that I asked Dr Park, Dr Gim, Joanne and anyone one who was answering my questions that if something went wrong would revision be free and it is a resounding yes, of course this does not apply if you simply don't like the outcome. This is another reason why I went with ID. I can not speak for any other clinics, but do make sure you ask this question BEFORE surgery. I also asked if I got infected, no one's fault just bad luck what then? Zoe had said they are very good with infection revision, they do charge for their time but not the full fee.

The swelling on my face is going down slowly. Unexpectedly friend popped round today he said OMG what's happened to your cheeks, I simply told him I had my wisdom teeth out and he totally believed me as the swelling is similar. You wouldn't know I've had surgery if you had never met me before, I look like I have food stuck in the side of my cheeks so there is no definition to my cheek bones yet that's all. But I am a bit vain so even though it's my birthday today, I am staying home and can't drink alcohol as 4 weeks haven't passed yet so yippee more fruit juice!!

I am sure your surgery will go smoothly, remind me again, when are you going and what exactly are you having done?

I'm glad to hear that ID has such a generous revision policy! Along with everything I hear about their great after-care and service, it seems like ID adds more of a human touch to the whole process. I think it's crucial that you should be able to trust the clinic to have your best interests in mind, especially when considering procedures that could potentially be life-changing.

I totally understand where you're coming from about the swelling. After I had my wisdom teeth extracted, I didn't leave my house for 5 days. The swelling distorted my entire face and I avoided mirrors and cameras like the plague.

I'm considering V-line, zygoma, and whatever procedure is necessary to deal with mouth protrusion. I'm flying to Korea next week! My relatives in Korea tell me it's unbearably hot there right now

I remember when I had consultation with Dr. Hong, he told me that if I had protruding side cheekbone, he would make incision on my sideburns. But since my cheekbone was protruding forward, he said he will make incision inside my mouth. and I did have tube after v-line surgery.

actually i will be going under G.A twice even if i do revision rhino cause my rhino involved osteotomy which mean breaking the bone. but you're right, normally if you're doing rhino, you wouldn't be going under G.A. just IV sedation and L.A will do.

I just want to share this small experience with you. My face is still quite swollen and I want to try everything to reduce it quicker so apart from taking loads of tablets I decided to use my facial sauna. Ahhh..... it was bliss, it loosened up my Alvin Chipmunk cheeks a treat, I could open my mouth wider, do big O's and E's with my mouth, I thought I had finally found the solution. 10 minutes after my facial and my face is like an ironing board!! So let this be a lesson to you kids, don't sauna your face after surgery. LMFAO

I remember small face was also mention as a good choice for v line with dramatic result but don't seem to have any body talking about it anymore. It is on my consultation list for v line too, anyone have any information or had done procedure with them can give some advise?
