bisousx
I agree that subtle is much better than going gung-ho for a super tall nose. I just had my nose and chin done w/ silicone a month ago in Vietnam. I've been going back and forth with making the tip higher, but I think I am okay with the results. None of my friends knew I had surgery until I told them. I was tired of looking cute; I'd rather be more elegant looking with a tall/pointy nose even at the expense of looking older, but having the results look natural is good enough for me. During the first week after recovery, I looked very Eurasian. It was amusing, but eventually the comments wore me down and I started to feel guilty because I felt like I had erased my ethnicity lol. Someone even said "I thought you were maybe only 1/4 Asian". Now that the swelling is almost completely gone, I'm pretty happy with the results and I look like my old self, albeit with a nicer profile and nose. dorkiegirl
heyy do you guys know anything about using fascia for augmentation?? i think rib might be not necessary for me, because it's too tall, and i only want a little bit of augmentation. does fascia have high absorption rate? bbgurly
When i was at VIP's, there was this lady who had fat grafted on her bridge. SHe was afraid of going under the knife thus Dr Lee suggested this procedure on her. If you want minimal increase, you can consult Dr Lee on it. bbgurly
Fraxel is an ablative laser, you will have some down time. You can google youtube for fraxel patients. SOme they recorded their day 1 experience after the treatment and there after. Numbing cream is needed thus pain is bearable. Depending on your treshold of course. Yes, you can do it all after your surgery. No problem with that.
bbgurly
Yes he does do that but of course not as many cases as rhinoplasty. My friend had her consultation with him and is going to do this jaw muscle reduction as well. This is a simple surgery according to JoAnn. So no biggie for him. It is just that most patients go to him for revisions rhino and usually, he only does one surgery per day if it is rib rhinoplasty because it takes up time. rawdude
is that the using your own tissues method? as far as i d gathered, i think dats more for revision. like a "touch up" not enough to complete the build. u may want to email the clinic about this cuz i d emailed em before. not suitable for my case. rawdude
nothing went wrong with dr jung. he is a gd surgeon. i guess many r just dissatisfied cuz goretex had not met their expectations. not saying it was badly done. if u wanna compare; i think dr jung done much better goretex job than many elsewhere. i think it all depends on what you want and your budget. goretex and RIB both achieve different end effects, as far as i d gathered, RIB requires 2 surgeries(more blood loss :X) but enchanced the Natural looking factor as it requires a very SKILLEd surgeon to perform such surgery as it allows the surgeon more ROOM to customize the nose u required( much depends on his skill). goretex can only do this much > ____< , yeh dats al bout. and not to mention higher chance of side effects and many revisions possible to go back to the surgeon. its easier to perform, quicker profit takings for the surgeon ( if to him that matters, yes it does) henceforthe the mass incoming patients asking for goretex that he can handles. ive heard dr lee is very focuz on RIBs. and he can spend hours in his "LAB" working on the masterpiece of your nose. pay more for it but its worth. RIBs can wrap idk. havent experienced it, yet. well the moment u start to do something on your nose, u must be prepared mentality for such to occur in future. noones to be blamed, and if that surgeon's end product did not meet your expectation; its prolly time to do a self reflect of what excatly you are expecting and if its achieveable by the method/ depending the particular surgeon's skill. and not to live in self denial. that being said; dr jung for goretex, dr lee for RIB and facial contouring. would be the best bet according to sources HERE in TPF and EXPATS , that IS, IF both are RELIABLE sources. X finga. cant believe im throwing my previous nose to someone this far just by reading what unknown people quoted here! lol caveat emptor
