kain
i ad a sliding genioplaty by "more than 6mm" rib cartilage in brdge and tip, covered wiyh ear cartilage in the tip to make it softer no alarplasty or osteotomy because the doctor said it wasn't necessary the tip is pretty wide atm due to swelling. it is as hard as a rock too when i push on the tip, instead of bending, i feel the strut pushing against the bone behind the nose. it feels really weird. is it alwaysgonna be this rigid? what happens if i fall on my face? i almost regained full feeling in my chin, but my two upper front teeth are numb. they are slowly regaining feeling i hve muscle pain and exhaustion from the fever. it hurts in my legs, back and rib now when i try to move
jamnyc
No, you cannot see or feel the paranasals. However, it is difficult for me to smile but joAnn old me to expect this in the beginning.

angleplane
I'm planning on having my rhinoplasty at VIP in June. @ Kain : it's weird to know that you've been operated now ! Few days ago, you were as curious as we were, hesitating about who we should give our trust to, and now it's done ! I can't wait to hear from your evolution. So, you're feeling like your tip is hard? I hope this is the beginning only. As I'm also having tip projection with rib cartilage. I still want to do the eskimo kiss (sometimes, people did that to me), I don't want them to immediately notice that I was operated... But I'm sure it won't last, otherwise what's the point in adding ear cartilage ? Let me know though...
angleplane
@Kain: by the way, I hope your Rib pain is doing better by now and that you no longer have fever. @Rawdude: viral infection for this fever ? That would be very scary... @BeefSoup: Even if Megoreng shares here story, please tell us yours, at the beginning I didn't want to have rib cartilage, but since I want paranasal implants and a lot of projection I might use it. I'm very interested in knowing how you like the result with septal and ear cartilage only. Also, I might do the mandibular resection with him, so you're experience will be very useful, no one has posted any experience with his jaw line surgery yet. Also, I think a lot of people start to PM to share their experience, but as you all know, we all want to hear about your experience, because we might choose a surgeon or a procedure accordingly. This is also the case for the silent readers. Your reviews are very very helpful, so please share them with all of us.
rawdude
Hi jen, im not against dr jung or siding any other docs. May i know wat kind of revision r u going for ? Still rib? If u r going for a goretex ,dr jung or other drs in apgujeong shld be able to handle that, but having a dr t's rib nose currently n requires a revision sounds like putting a touch to van gogh, can be tricky, i suggest u research for a rib specialist, as dr jung dosent support rib cartilage for the nose.just my opinion gl
rawdude
Kain has been here for almost as long as some of us whom d done it earlier, he has been contributing lots of solid info n has been very resourceful. I m sure many of us who had done it or not r still very curious. Afterall, many vipians here r new to this vip noses. So im sure we r still needing each other to share n feedback especially those who d done it. Not many guys, n none d done chin d contributed. So kains review v important. @ kain take your time with postings pics n reviews, all u nid now is recovery, tak care! Viral infection can be minor so no biggie, sometimes just a common flu. But with recent hand foot mouth disease lurking ard in korea, pls take precaution everyone gla

jenstar11
For those who have had surgery with Dr. Lee (VIP), if you don't mind please share your before and after pictures with me via email. I've heard so many praises about this clinic and I want to be convinced with your results. Mine will be a revision so if you had a revision also, I'd greatly appreciate the photos. Thanks in advance.
