nah its okay, i was there this morning right b4 i left the clinic

thanks though. i musta looked really funny to the doc and nurses: me, sitting there, crossed eyed, swollen, and bruised

also, maybe you should ask jamnyc to ask larry why he chose vip. i can't talk properly anymore, my speech is slurred due to my mouth incisions and numbness so i avoid talking whenever possible.

@rawdude: K-wire : is it temporary after the surgery ? or is it permanently put in the rib cartilage ? I think they put only on patients younger than 25 as their rib cartilage is more likely to warp.

@Kain: it's really cool to hear from your post op experience, because when I'll come next month, I plan to have a mandibular resection 5 days after my rhinoplasty at another clinic (in another forum, I read that a girl had rhinoplasty at Dr jung and the same day mandibular resection and zygoma at another clinic), I'm a bit wiser and I'll wait 5 days in between. I just hope I won't have fever like you did...Also, psuchologically, I may think "no surgery anymore", but since I don't plan on coming to Korea for each procedure, I may as well force myself for a month.

it will be really difficult to eat afte mandible surgery

have you seen the cozycot forum for bone reduction? they have some really useful info specialised for bone reduction surgeries.
like someone posted the phone number of a delivery company that delivers porridges. they have a pumpkin porridge which is easy to eat and is supposed to reduce swelling

my tip is really swollen but that should change over time

my alar base still looks wide and i don't think that is going to change at all because there is no deswelling or absorption that is gonna happen to my alars. i wish he'd done alarplasty. he said he would do it if it was needed but i guess i should have been more firm about what i wanted rather than what he wanted

he bridge looks nice though, even if it is still swollen

my ear feels kinda weird

there is still packing on it so i can't feel the entire thing, just the outer edge. but it feels mushy. i hope its just swelling. and i really hope none of the ridges disappear. that would look weird. and the ear cartilage doesn't seem to make my tip feel softer like it was supposed to

how do your ears look and feel after surgery?
