What about the tone and texture of your skin? I am not really worried about the downtime nor the pain, I am just sick of my complexion . I will have to ask VIP to quote me a price...I also have 2 dermatologist in mind around VIP so I will have to go for consultation to see what other procedures they will recommend.....how is your nose healing so far? They are not very high but they do has a very nice shape to it. So envious of all of you guys partying and hanging out together. Such fun and memories to capture!! I thought it wasn't obvious.. most of my friends had just said I seemed to have lost weight and my face looks thinner.. i think my new nose has made my face seem longer.. or maybe its just that they didn't dare to ask me if I had anything done.. anyways, when my uncle saw me, he immediately asked me if I had anything done!! I denied it as it was in front of my other relatives as well! when i said no, he kept insisting that I must have done something cuz I look so different.. my aunty quickly said maybe its cuz I had a different hairstyle.. and he still insisted that i must have done something and kept staring at me throughout the whole dinner! intherighthands Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 I think I would just tell them, I had my nose reconstructed, cause my original nose was really bad that you can call it deformed, there is very weak and small bone structure underneath the tip area, too short collumella, very flat and wide, protrusion mouth, the whole nose just does not match with any of my other facial features. And I will just tell them because of those reasons I found a proper and professional surgeon (DR LEE of course ^^)who specialise in nose reconstruction and had my nose reconstructed to a normal nose. crok Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 I'm not sure how to edit posts... but I just want to mention that I forgot to say that part of the reason that the surgery was painful/uncomfortable for me was because I had come down with a slight cold or bad allergies the night before. My throat was a little bit sore, my nose was stuffy/runny, and my mouth was dry so it made me cough. It was hard to breathe (but I still managed). Sorry but I couldn't help bursting out laughing when I read your post XD I'm so worried that everyone's going to be thinking that when they see me and God knows my relatives and family friends aren't the type to keep quiet about their thoughts. I think the reason your mouth and cheekbones look different is because of the fat graft and your eyes due to some small residual swelling for the nose? Are you still having stiffness in your upper lip? that could definitely account for the different-ness (is that even a word) in your mouth.
