cosmgirl
can someone please explain what this means: Cover with dermis Cover with fascia if the sides of my nostrils are missing skin, how would that be fixed? (lenghtening my nose wont fix the pignose problem because the sides of my nostrils are missing skin, if that makes sense) im just trying to figure out how they would fix this since its not part of bridge or tip fixing what is mandible long vs short cut? is Mandible long cut more complicated than v-line? anne10331
o.o If it is still there, it's not noticeable at all. I have a bump too and I'm hoping to get rid of it. Did he say that the bump will eventually go away; like it's part of the healing process?
cosmgirl
hey does anyone know what "sprout" means? Ear cartilage tip + silicon bridge (sprout)
migookinamja
You know what, in the consultation right before surgery he goes over what we talked about before. He said exactly what he was going to do, he said "I'm going to shave down your hump a little". I understood that as it only needs to be shaved down a little to be completely removed. He didn't say it in bad English, I just wasn't paying as much attention as I should have. In the end I like it the way it turned out, although I probably would like it totally straight also which was my original plan. The tip work I consider totally amazing. Everyday I find a nuance that I didn't see before. But back to the hump. If you want it gone, MAKE SURE YOU ARE CLEAR ABOUT THAT. He'll probably recommend that for you anyway since humps aren't usually as attractive on females as they can be on guys. It might go down because of some swelling currently but I think a little bit is still going to remain. I've ordered some silicone sheets to cover it while it heals so that it doesn't scar and make a bigger bump.
kain
i worked over two years in a fast food hell to pay for my nose job tbh, vip isnt mentioned for facial contouring on cozycot iirc. havent been there in a long time though. but you can ask them about it . i'd recommend going to a specialist for the mandibles, since it is a big procedure. covering with fascia or dermis is using special tissue from your body (from the back of your skull for one, idk where for the other)to cover the bridge implant. it is sometimes recommended for ppl with thin skin. your questions about your nostrils, you should probably ask multiple surgeons about their opinion by email and consultation. they will probably have different methods of fixing it. i think for me, my nostrils were showing a little bit and my nose was short so my nose was lengthened, which included putting some cartilage on both sides of my nose (beside the main bridge implant, but above the nostrils area), which effectively pushed down my collumela and nostrils. cosmgirl
wow thats a lot of work for the nosejob yeah, if i do it separately then i have to decide which one to do first (and i am afraid of the general anesthesia) i guess im leaning toward vip for nose because i need to do rib cartilage rhinoplasty and banobagi for jaw reduction do you think i can go wrong with this? which is better: 1. do nose and jaw reduction together @ vip 2. do jaw reduction at banobagi, wait about 2 months then do nose @ vip? banobagi hasnt responded though. and then im confused how to schedule my procedure. so i should stay 3 weeks in korea, do a consultation for the first 2 days or so, then do the jaw? and then later come back for another 2 weeks to do the nose? for rib cartilage rhinoplasty what is a good choice for this? do you think vip is ok for this? does anyone know how they "add skin" to the side of the nostrils? because thats why my nostrils show and just making the nose longer still wont fix it. ill ask vip about this too i guess. in the vip list of procedures, which is it included in? like its not tip work, or bridge work, so which is it? i dont think its alarplasty either because i dont need that changed? juicyme
I loveeee the forehead protrusion... 33 is it possible for it to be like that with fat graft? Vip doesnt recommend implant.
cosmgirl
hey did you ever do this and how did it go? do you recommend vip for mandible? i'm so confused
intherighthands
Hey how r u?? U know if it's possible to increase the height of the hairline, cause my forehead is so low
migookinamja
Can you do either of these procedures with just local? I thought rib harvesting was an automatic general anesthesia. Same with jaw reduction. People are saying their rib rhino at vip took 7+ hrs. Aside from the pain, my soft tissue doc a Dream said I should do general for any surgery going longer than 4-5 hrs just as a practical reason that you want to be out cold for that long. cosmgirl
if i want a jaw like this, what should i ask for? i mean its not regular mandible reduction right? i want my jaw to be somewhat angular and not just like a straight or curved line from the ear to the chin which clinics do you think can achieve this? i do NOT want something like this: where its just a straight line or even curved line like i really want more defined angles as how they are on a caucasian face which clinic can do this for me? cosmgirl
the first thing i thought of was pulling your hair out or shaving your head its much worse to have the opposite problem (hairline is too high) i think there is a surgical hairline moving procedure if your hairline is too low they can probably stretch your forehead area and then move your whole scalp back or like cut out part of your scalp and then move your forehead back but really i dont know if its worth it? how can your forehead be that low? i dont think it can be that bad? btw where did you do your nose job? your nose in the after pics looks good
cosmgirl
im not sure, i thought so too but i read that he does it with local? because putting a tube in your throat for 4-5 hours will damage your throat or something i guess they can give you a local anesthetic in your rib area? i dont want to be out at all and i think the longer that you are out, the more dangerous general anesthesia is? so id rather do it with local why does rib rhino take so long? it takes an hour to get the rib? and really like that long to do the nose? 7 hours? thats pretty long especially for me because i think my nose will be a complicated case with so many problems
