hey.. Wow. I'm glad it's not 5 inches like you said but the scar is still a lot longer and wider compared to mine. Hopefully, new hair will grow back in that area. After I saw your picture, I finally took a look at my incision in the scalp for the very first time (it's been close to 3 months now). I never really paid attention to it cuz I didn't see it and my hair covers it and I didn't notice any bald spot. I felt tenderness in the area the first couple of weeks so I avoided scrubbing/touching it as much as possible and so I sorta forgot to see what it actually looks like until after seeing your picture. I can see baby hair starting to growin the incision area so it'll probably will be the same for u. I'm just surprised why your incision is double my size though.

since i can't actually see the scar, i tried to measure what i FELT was the scar.
but after everyone posting how much smaller their scar was i had a friend take a closer look. what i also included in the measurement was the area that was shaved (i think) in order for the fascia to be grafted. that area has tiny prickly hair growing out and it was also raised so i assumed that the scar extended to that region as well. but it doesn't. it's just swollen/raised from the trauma but there is no incision scar there.

but the actual scar/bald spot is pretty big still. i'm going to try to post a picture of it. i'm holding a quarter next to my scar/bald spot. US quarter has a 1 inch circumference. so from the picture it looks like my scar is about 3 inches long and about 0.5 inches wide. if you don't know how big a quarter is, you can reference my finger nail

it's been over 4 weeks since my fascia was harvested but there is no sign of hair regrowth. the swollen region (you can't see in the picture because my hair is covering it) that was shaved (??) has new baby hair growing from it already...
does anyone know how long before i can expect hair? or is this going to be a gigantic bald spot?

nope.. We didn't exchange any of her experiences with VIP through pm. Jesse00 wrote on the forum that dr lee didn't know about the fascia proposal until she was about to be operated for everyone to see so that's how I knew about the story. Same goes for angleplane's liposuction. Both cases involved joanne proposing something and dr lee learning about it right before surgery. You should read what people say before being so quick to accuse me of "putting words into dr.lee's mouth" or fabricating stories.

Tiplasty using autologous cartilage graft: to elongate the tip and make it more refined

For those who are interested with Dr. Fukuta - I have recently went to Verite Clinic at Ginza to consult with him on other procedure but not nose. Fyi, the consultation is not free and I have to book in advance before going to Japan as Dr. Fukuta would only be at Ginza around 3 days per week. The receptionist and staff at the clinic are very pretty but they hardly speak English. Thus, I have to communicate with them using simple Japanese words and sign language. Dr. Fukuta can speak English. Another forum mentioned that he studied in overseas. Dr. Fukuta is very polite and patient in discussing the procedure with me. He made me understand that I should have realistic expectation due to my own limitations..

i dont knw i try to look for more infor about it but i cant find anything on the internet, the first time i heard about it is a member call Koreanboy i guess i have his nose done at wonjin a famous clinic in korea recommend it to him, other than that i cant find anything about it, even went on the realself.com website and saw someone ask about it but the surgeon on there are clueless about sili-tex

when i said that you were right, i meant that you were right that dr lee did not know about the fascia until before the surgery (even though the jesse's post was ambigous). and you are right that it should be the doctor that makes recommendations

but there is still this quote where you did put words into his mouth

if it is the case that jesse00 didn't need fascia, he should have stood his ground and said no, you don't need it. why say you don't need fascia and then turn around and say oh joann proposed it? ok, i'll do it. something's very wrong with this picture.​

you are assuming that dr lee wouldnt use fascia because he thinks it is more harmful than good. if this is the case, there are two different things that could have happened if joann hadnt made the recommendation (and therefore not 'influenced/intimidated' him) :
1. he refuses to use fascia if joann did not make the recommendation and yet jesse wanted it (which is what you assumed)
2. if jesse wanted fascia he would have decided that even though it is not necessary, it is still beneficial to the point where he would still use it.

so again, you were right that dr lee didnt know about it until the last moment, and you are right that dr lee should have made the recommendations. but you did put words into his mouth because you dont know what he would have done.

personally, i think he would have done it if jesse wanted it and joann hadnt recommended it.
refusing to use fascia is like refusing a patient who wants diced cartilage in fascia, or who wants goretex instead of silicone. using fascia+silicone is just another method of augmentation
a patient wants their nose done a certain way, and as long as a patient is reasonable (and the surgeon knows how to do it), a surgeon will do it. so i do think that he would have done it and would not "have stood his ground" because there is no indication that he was against it in the first place.

of course, since joann did recommend it, we dont have the scenario above so we cant say for sure. but even though you were right about the other two things, it still remains that you did put words into his mouth.

yes, dr lee didnt know about the lipo on the legs, but i never said that you were wrong about that. you are right about it

if you refer to my previous posts, you will see that i only argued about why he refused to do the lipo.

However, he agreed to do it once he discovered it had been proposed and payment was collected by Joann. That is a fact is it not? Don't you see that Dr. lee was unaware of this proposal and if it hadn't been for joann, Dr. lee would have not agreed to do the liposuction on angleplane. There could be various reasons beside finance that a doctor might refuse to do a procedure on a person. Ex. include possible health risks/complications, patient has had too many surgeries, patient doesn't need it, etc.

if the patient doesnt need it aesthetically and yet opts for it, then i see no problem. and all we have to do is ask angleplane why dr lee refused (health problem or not?) and the only problem left is that joann proposed it without dr lee knowing.

so i agreed that dr lee did not know about it until right before the surgery, i argued against your point about necessity, and then the remaining point was your implication that it was for health reasons. there was never any indication that it was for health reasons annd angleplane said that it was not about a health risk, it was because he didnt think it was aesthetically necessary

and i wasn't quick to accuse you of something. i read the posts, thought it over, and then did my best to make sure that i didn't miss anything.

i trust this docter 100% and with my eyes i was very specific in what i wanted (he has free consultations) and i went in a million times!!! and he makes a few recommendations...well usually he doesnt ...unles he sees fit but its really really good recommendations!! he recommended i do my epi and lateral iwoth my double eyelid and it turned out soo good!!



and my nose ..well i let him do what ever....i just wanted a higher bridge and more defined tip! and showed him a few pictures and went to sleep happily trusting him and i love it!

actually there's bad review from one person who did double eyelid from wish clinic... you can check in sg expats forum...he said that the doctor make his eyes look more Filipino..

hey thanks for being so open and sharing with all of us on this forum. with my nose i want to get my tip really pointy, and narrow the base of my nose through tip projection. i have a really slender face, so a pointer and longer nose will balance out my face more. i plan to go next year during the winter, id really like to go to china to get it done cuz i love their aesthetic style regarding plastic surgery. lol haha this sounds silly but i am IN LOVE with song hye kyos nose. she is a korean actress. love love her nose.

do u kno if that eye lengthening procedure can be done to non asians too?? im east african and i have big eyes and lids, but i want my eyes to be longer vertical wise. do u kno if tht can be done on someone like me??

regarding angela baby she got TONS of plastic surgery. all u have to do is look up pictures of her when she was a kid. she was sooo ugly. i posted before and after pictures of her on the forum, to show ppl what a major transformation she went through. juss check my post on page 573 and u should be able to see her before pics.
