worries Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I'm stll considering whether to go Korea Banobagi or Itemclinc or Dr kao Taiwan(Reviews from Sing Expat Forum).Since members here mostly r experience with Rhinoplasty. Can anyone please advise me what type if silcon that can have a result an increase of natural height on bridge (height increase abt 1mm) with a nice Thin n curve bridge, which silcon should I use? Im kind of confused.. I know e advantage n disadvantage of both GoreTex n Silcon but I gonna choose one, just that I don't want to make the wrong choice which makes me ended up with a thick n straight high bridge... As I'm doing Septal Cartilage on lengthening. Some dr advise to add on Ear cartilage for tip as well to define nose tip no need alar reduction. Some says just do Septal cartilage with Slight alar reduction to balance e shape of my nose... Argh!!!! Hope to hear some advise... Thank you.. azn_kid Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 i dont really like banobagi to be honest with you, first before leave US to go to korea i really like banobagi too bcuz of they promising b4 and after pics on their website but then after have consultation with dr. lee i feel like he only want to do a quick job and dont want to deal with a very complicate case like i mention i want to have fascia wrap the silicon for nature look and he just keep tell me that is no need even tho i said i just want it for nature look, well it just my experiment and feeling you might like him so when u in korea just give him a shot, and one more thing turn me off about dr. lee at banobagi is i have friend came at the same time with for surgery and she only have her eyes done, she pick banobagi after have consultation at few other place, what surprise me is the surgeon operate her is dr. lee but i knw banobagi have 5 specialize surgeon and each of them have the aera that they're specialize in, i thought dr. lee only does nose and they have another surgeon that does eyes only, my friend end up not really happy about her eyes but now is too soon to tell, items clinic i have heard about them that they are surgeon from BK got separate to start their own clinic, they are pretty new so that the reason y i didnt go to them for consultation while im in korea, dr. kao from taiwan another friend that we meet up in korea to go have consultation together had his 1st nj done with dr. kao and he is not really happy with the result, he told me that b4 the surgery dr. kao is very friendly and patience but after the surgery and my friend want to have a reversion dr. kao keep denied and refuse to do a reversion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Really surprise to hear your frd's experience with dr kao...is your frd nose really look bad? His/ Hers experience with Dr kao is primary surgery or revision? Anyway,Ya I hear of Those big plastic surgery does surgery for patients like that, patients who did not strongly request for specific Dr may end up operate by another Dr. Hence I was wondering if we r on GA, slping like a pig will the Specialist Dr ask a trainne to do it for us? Omg, really terrible! Itemclinc just newly open but their Dr is formally a specialist from bkclinic, they seems to be gd but price for me on nose is really out of my budget... Hmmm... Haiz, big plastic surgery clinic seems not reliable, small surgery clinc scared not experience Enough...Omg really tiring! Maybe I should live with my short nose ba.. worries Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 Hi Azn_Kid, Oh really... hmm for scaring is quite hard to predict...Like my case my revision with Dr Kim in the first 2mths post ops develop hypertrophic scar. Dr Kim told me its individual skin recovery system. He mention after 3 mths still there he will inject steroid for me. I was worried so when to national skin centre, Dr also says e same thing. Fortunately after i reached 3mth mark its fading off..now not so obvious le. I think Dr Kao remember your friend case... he told me he is worried about me having alar reduction..ya. Its okie if he is gd at rhinoplasty an tip-plasty but not gd in alarplasty then i wont do alar plasty. Since alarplasty is optional for me...
