silverash
Hi Vivi, Then how about yourself? Do you agree with their recommendation? What is it about your rhinoplasty that you are not liking? Do you think it is too straight for your bridge and the tip is wrong? So wrong that they need an entire revision? I felt that although they are the specialist, their opinions are from a very asthetic standpoint and might not necessary mean it looks the best on you. In their mind its all about ratios, the dimensions, degrees etc etc. Eventually it should be you deciding what you feel is best on you. Did u do a rib bridge and tip? izora
I suppose it's still a lot of work for the doctor even if he doesn't harvest a new piece of rib cartilage. A few doctors told me that removing the cartilage is the easiest part of surgery. I've seen pictures of noses with warped rib cartilage, so I'm guessing that warping can occur even after surgery...? Doctors seem to disagree when warping actually occurs. I wouldn't worry about it if it hasn't happened yet. How long has it been since you had your first nose job? summer82
Hi, I feel exactly the same way as you do, that's why I want to use Rib cartilage for my whole nose, eventhough it's my first nosejob and rather spend more money, just to be on the safe side. After further consideration, I think I'll go to Korea for my nosejob instead. VIP or O & Young This is O & Young's website www.koclub.com VIP's website http://www.vipps.co.kr/vip_eng/s When do you plan to do rhino ?

lovelyitem88
Hey thanks everyone for the reply. O & young website only has korean I'm going to go to BK in dec/jan this year to have my eyes done and am planning to have a consultation with dr Jung about my nose. If I have enough money will get both done end of this year and if not then will save for the nose another year. Do you know how O& young or vip compares to Dr Jung (he seems like a safe choice). chlorogeous
Is it okay to just have the tip defined and alar base narrowed without the bridge being worked on? As much as I would like to have an enhanced nose that would be the best it could be (i.e. including bridge work) I don't want any foreign material in my body because of the potential long term effects. Do you think it's worth a change without bridge work? Long term, is it generally work on the bridge that causes the problems? Assuming the tip is built up using cartilage successfully, what are any potential long term problems? Are there any?

izora
I don't know about other doctors, but Dr. Lee from VIP uses K wire to prevent warping if your cartilage is more prone to warping.
bbgurly
Hi All!! I am planning to do a revision of my nose job which was done 14 years ago and am thinking of either Korea or Taiwan ( leaning more to Korea). I believe like many other silent readers, I tried to gather much information from the threads and slowly conclude my decision to where should I do it! But, till now, I have a whole list of names and clinic but no conclusion, only confusion!!! dr Jung, migo, OZ, VIP.... It will be great if anyone of you can help me Budget: 4K - 7K USD Current : Silicon L-shape implant Revision: Anything else Plan: To go from Mid-End Nov - Mid - Dec
bbgurly
I mean can join me,Please PM me so we can discuss more. I am 32 female, heading to korea from Singapore. I plan to bring my 2 children along, I know it is crazy but I have no choice. I hope my mother can join me there so she can help to take care of them. So, if anyone else can join us it will be great as I am afraid my mother might not be able to handle them alone in a foreign land. Actually the more the better.
