Hmm.. What has it got to do w age now?

Well, i dont mean tat its ok to photoshop, but yes, its like this!

But u know y am i not angry/upset/negative about it? Cos feeling tat way doesnt make a difference in how my nose looks now. In short, my nose is done, getting better each day although i hope e tip deswells faster.

E reason y i commented on this issue was because i wanted to clarify tat VIP didnt make up the good job they hv done by showing photoshopped pics. What they did, at least to my b&a was to make it look less swollen as the pics were taken 10days post op. to b fair, i cant think of another way of how they could get b&a for their site since most patients r nt willing to b featured, of course they had to tamper w pics of ppl who gave consent rite? N i reiterate, i do not agree w the photoshop part. Its more of like i empathise w them.

N if because some of us r less critical of the photoshop part, causing ppl to change their mind about which ever doctor, then its jus too bad n I dont care. Cos its ur nose n not mine.

Upset wit me but not with them huh...lol.. Btw i wasnt talking abt anyone in particular least of all U. And I read ur previous post nd I understand thatbu did not condone it. I was just making a general statement there..

What I meant by age is that there r a lot of 1st timer/young ppl here who deserve the right kind of information. VIP is misleading them (and us) by showing photoshoppe result so its irresponsible for us with experience (not necessary u) to say its ok.

Btw I saw that this is ur third NJ (or 2nd) and I'm happy that U finally got it right. I didnt get it right the 1st time either and how I wished that this forum existed when I did mine so I get the right kind of information.. See what I meant?

@ To all forumers: I think my experience does not help anyone in here if you don't understand what I try to point out some important thing in PS field. At first I feel guilty not contribute my part by silently reading info. But it turns out I am wrong. Thank you for all your info and continued to discuss so keep this forum with interesting subject. the important thing is that a potential patient knows what they are getting into, and photoshopped pics are clearly misleading.
i understand some other things. for example, it is up to each individual person to decide whether they are comfortable with a clinic if the consultation is too quick. from the many reviews posted, it has been agreed that joann often conducts the majority of the consultation, and the consultation with the doctor is relatively short. most ppl are aware of it before they go to the clinic, as long as they read the reviews that were posted and do their research. some ppl are okay with it, (ie. everybody who has ever gone to bk clinic, or in this case vip) and if they aren't okay with it then they simply go to another clinic.
but i don't see how ppl can just brush it under the carpet when they photoshop pics...



that being said, my results are similar to the b&a pics posted on vip's website, with one major difference: my bridge is higher than theirs, but dr lee recommended a higher bridge for me because i have more prominent browbones and forehead, and i agreed to it. other than that, the style is similar.
if you look at the frontal b&a pics, the nostril width remains roughly the same because alarplasty doesn't seem to be common. but the tip becomes sharper, and longer if it was retruded originally.
at 3 or 4 months, my tip was still too wide to look similar to the b&a pics on the website. from my 6 month and 7 month post op pics, my nose looks better from the front.

from the side view, my nose has looked similar to their b&a pics even at 7 days post-op (except my bridge is still a bit too high)

looking at their b&a gallery again, it seems that it is a mix of low resolution/blurry pics, and high resolution/quality pics. i am going to guess that the low resolution pics are the ones that were photoshopped because they look out of place among their high res counterparts.
also, i am guessing that if they do photoshop a pic, it tends to be a front view pic since that is the one that is the most swollen when they take the b&a pics at 2 weeks post op. the side view usually looks at least okay from the start.


also, about the driver, he only sees ppl at two weeks post op, max. i left after 1 week post op and i was too tired to be happy with all those meds. my nose was really swollen as well. i don't think that seeing ppl at two weeks post op is a good representation of the results.

i think its disappointing because they could be so much better if they would invest more time in proper consultations and just not post photoshopped b&a pics. i'm sure they have recieved this type of feedback before so i'm not sure why they don't change.

i completely agree, i think ppl dont get how big of a deal it is for a clinic to photo-shop their pics. i respect vip alot but the photo-shopping is unacceptable. they should juss wait for their patients noses to deswell, and have them send in a photo when their 6 or 7 months post-op so it will be acceptable enough so they wont have to even edit in the first place.

I found this as one of the alternative if you want to do something with your nose but without surgery. This fillers used add the volume or corrected on your nose or some other area. Depends on the area, each area use different type of filler that suitable for you..
I have one of my Korean friend who did this in Seoul. His result is really good and very natural.. He did using Bio-Alcamid for his nose and it can last for 2-3 years, but it will gradually go down after that, and you need to inject again..
So based on his recommendation, I decided to go to Mi & Mi "미앤미" clinic and did a consultation with the doctor.. He said that if you need a drastic and permanent change of course you may need to do plastic surgery.. But filler is enough if you only need natural change.. He said filler is very safe. I also saw some photos in the clinic, a lot of celebrities done with filler too at that clinic. Maybe this is good if you are staying in Korea, so you can inject again if it go down.. But I think other country may have this too..

I am quite interesting about this. Any advice about filler?

filler are great if you get a great doctor however understand that some fillers last 10-20 years and is hard to remove.

I have reservation of injecting filler too when VIP suggested it for revision, to make my bridge higher. Filler is either temporary or it would melt and spread to other areas which would be difficult to remove later.
