Anyone ever try asian eyelash implant surgery?

^Is that the Grow Luscious mascara from Revlon? I just purchased a tube, but I think that something is wrong with it. When I pull the wand out, it is lumped with mascara because I think that there is no lip that scrapes off the excess as you pull it out. It's the strangest thing???

How would lash implants like this be permanent? Wouldn't it eventually fall out like regular hair? The eyelid skin is so delicate that i would be VERY cautious in undergoing a procedure like this. I would be trying all other options first

I think, like with real hair on your head, the follicles stay there even if the hair falls out, and it continues to grow forever.

But I agree with the delicacy of it. I read a blogger went to Vietnam to get this done for $600 only and she looked great, but I would be too scared!

^But that's the point of all of the topical products. They don't claim to grow new/extra lashes - they claim to protect/strengthen the lashes that you already have so that they can grow longer.

Also, OP, if you're going to try a topical like Neulash, I would definitely recommend using it more than once a month (after achieving your desired growth), especially since you claim to have delicate lashes to begin with. I have been using lash products (like Neulash) for about 3 years now and I usually will take a short break when I run out of a product before starting a new one. I have noticed that I will start to lose lashes within about a month of discontinuing use. I'd say that you could safely get away with using a product once every couple of weeks to ensure lash retention.

I might buy it and try it out but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it...something about putting chemicals near my eyes for so long every day kinda makes me feel like not worth it! I'm scared. Yes I know going in for surgery for sure has its risks too but being in the hands of a (hopefully) experience doctor and "just getting it over with" instead of having to stick to a routine every day seems much safer from here!

It just seems like such a risky surgery. It's such thin skin in that area. I would be sure to go to a very, very good doctor if I had it done. if it gets infected, it could spread to the eye, and that could cause blindness. Just be sure to weigh all risks before doing it. I definitely wouldn't go to a foreign country to have it done either and this is definitely one to not look for the best price on but for the most qualified doctor

Sorry for the late reply. I can't seem to remember drugstore makeup brands that well! haha I meant the L'oreal lash growth serum .. it really works wonders!
