hondabar88 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 If there is no reply from a clinic, I think you should dismiss it. I would go to a Korean Plastic Surgeon who speaks very good English. I would be very frightened if I am unable to communicate what I want and my conditions to the plastic surgeon as all plastic surgeries are invasive procedures.
cik Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 hi dear as you have more posts on here, i assume that you have more experience with regards plastic sergury. I had my double eyelid and cheekbone reduction in REX which recommended by Translator Anita's team. as a result after 3 weeks, My eyes are uneven and asymmtry. my cheekbones appear the same comparing the B&A X-ray. even worse, my right eyebrow connot raised as the left one. Has anyone had the similar experience ? :help::help::help:
cik Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Hi dearhow are you lately ? has things improved with you?I totally understand your feelings and i am exactly in the same situation.I had upper eyelid , lower eyelid ,epic and cheekbone reduction in REX seoul which was recommended by translator Anita's team. after 3 weeks, my upper eyelids were uneven, asymmentry and very bad stitches on the corner of right eye.my cheekbone looks like the same from my B&A x-rays but with two broken arches. on top of that, my right eyebrow connot raised as the left eyebrow.I wouldnt mind to share some post-op photos after i figure out how to insert picture with the text.take care
cik Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 hi i think face line is good. i have visited a few time when i was in seoul. faceline has a lot of clients and was very busy each time i visited. hope this helps.
cik Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 my friend is interested to have a facelift. but, why does a facelift only last five years?
vian Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Hi cik, Maybe u wait for two more weeks and c how it goes. I think different people have different timing of having total recovery. I read frm the websites of these korean clinics said that total recovery time may take 1 year. It depends very much how ur body react after the surgery. Although I haven't done any plastic surgery yet but I remember a young girl like me 15 yrs ago have recovered very fast and my scar healed nicely after having operation on my upper n lower leg due to a serious accident hit by lorry. So.... I guess you should think positively. I wish u have a speedy recovery.
cik Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Hi Vian thats very kind of you. I'd loke to think positively. however, my double eyelids' cutting lines were not even, plus very bad stitching. they are asymmentry obviously, everybody tells me that, and they all ahve second thought of having operation in seoul now. they supposed to go seoul next year. If the asymmetry were never gone, what should I do? I don't have the money to do revision. I am really depressed.
melinaa Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 i'am planning go to Seoul on 02 Dec 2013 anybody going there on that time and like to share email me [email protected] Thank's
vian Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Hi Cik, OMG! Do u feel pain on the cut on ur eyelids? I saw ur cuts are still raw?
soong-sister Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 For those who are planning to do the plastic surgery please have enough money for the revision just in case hopefully you don't need it. Because without sufficient funds please don't do any plastic surgery. Which is worst no money for revision and look deform or look like an average Jane next door . I rather choose the later. Cik I am sorry for your ordeal however you have no choice but save enough money for revision what Is done is already done cannot undo it . Just live you life happy go lucky and plan for the next revision perhaps a few years down the road .
emisa Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Cik, I have experience getting my money back from the clinic who did a bad job to my nose. They didn't agree to refund me in the beginning because they said its stated in the agreement and that they could only do a revision for me. Of course I wouldn't want to return to do revision with the same doctor. I went around in Seoul to look for a few doctors to diagnose my nose. I wrote down what each of them said. Eg deviated bridge, uneven nostrils, etc. As revision will cost more than primary, you need to find out the cost of revision from these doctors. (I did not do this but I should so that I could get more than the refund or compensation for the revision. The revision of my nose will cost so much more..) Summary:- 1. You need to get diagnosis, revision plan and quote from 2-3 other PS doctors regarding your case. 2. You need to collect feedback from family and friends. 3. Write to the clinic and copy your translator. Get the translator to help negotiate with the clinic as well because they recommended you to this clinic, if I remember correctly. My translator, Zoe, did not recommend me to this clinic, but she helped me communicate with them over the phone and when meeting them in person, with me. 4. Your email should include 1. 2-3 docs advice, 2. Friends and family's feedback 3. Pictures 4.Your overall experience/feeling about this clinic 5. Remember to mention that you are an active forum member. That other members are waiting to see what the clinic is planning to do about this case. 6. Of course, make it clear that revision in the same clinic is not an option. You need to seek revision elsewhere and therefore, you need a compensation from them. 7. The quotes from other doctors. Not sure if you want to ask how tis serious assymetry could happen? Was the stitches done by the doctor, or someone less experience? Wish you well..
emisa Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Cik, If they want to revise your eyes again. Say NO. First, your wound is still raw. There will be lotsa scar tissue forming now. The result will not be good. Also, you need to have the right mindset first, that you deserve your compensation or at least refund back. Then start negotiate.
sanmi Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 did you do all your surgeries at the same clinic? care to share what you did? The doc name and the clinic name, thks
