Looking for good plastic surgeons in Seoul?

Recommended Posts

Hi ncred

I just had mine 3 weeks ago at Dream Clinic with Dr.Park Yang Soo. He did septal extension and dorsal augmentation . I still have residual swelling but I am quite happy with the result so far. I have yet to see the final results in 2 months time , then I can really say if I really got what I asked him

Hope this helps

I don't really compare prices between clinics . I chose Dream because I know Dr. Park is one of the best in the field for close rhino. I did bargain. My final was 4,800usd .

Can anybody be who happen to be in this forum tell us your final pricing for rhino ? And which clinic ?

Thanks

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum. I have gone through pages and pages of posting about rhinoplasty. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Jung of Shimmian Clinic at the end of May for a revision rhinoplasty, but after reading all the negative reviews I am very apprehensive. Has anyone had surgery with the other director of Shimmian, Dr. Chang? Is his work any good? Thanks.

hey peach, did you get a silicone bridge implant? or ultra soft? I want to get mine done with Dr. Park as well so I was just wondering if he recommended any of those.

Ncred, yes I did get ultra soft . I think ultra soft is the popular choice for implant now in Seoul. A few is my friends who plan/ did get rhino augmentation are advised/ got ultra soft silicone implant.

I had my nose done at Shimmian with Dr Jung 7 years ago.

You can see some photos of my nose now as i recently posted some for my fc results 2 months post-op. It is not pretty but better than before for sure. But still i will go back this year for rhinoplasty revision. Dr Jung helped me with my breathing problems at that time, I had rhino done in L.A. and afterwards i had infection with my silicone implant, could not breath like before, it was a nightmare. So i looked for the best ENT specialist to fix it. Now i can breath nearly normally again but still need some work done by a plastic surgeon.

I have shortlisted 3 clinics thanks to my purse friends ;)
Hope you will find friends who had rhino recently so they can share their pictures with you. It will really help you i think...

Hi, I just signed up for the forum so I haven't read all the posts. I just wanted to reply to your inquiry since I have experience with Shimmian. Anyways, I had rhinoplasty revision surgery with Dr. Jung in 2011. Mr. Jay Lee helped me with everything and I felt very comfortable. I arrived in Korea by myself pretty late at night and Mr. Jay Lee picked me up and had a room in the clinic ready for me. The next day I showed them photos of noses I liked. They take this very seriously and Dr. Jung will try to get it as close to the photo as possible so take your time when shopping for noses..lol

Recovery was quite difficult and they used the cartilage from my ear and cartilage from my septum. I opted to get a paranasal implant put in which wasn't that much of an extra cost. My eyes were bruised for a week. I did have an issue with the silicone paranasal implant which started to come out about a week after surgery. The clinic offered to fix it for free but I was already back in the U.S. Eventually I had to get the paransal implant removed by another doctor..which sucked cos I thought my face looked better with it.

Overall, I'm happy with the result and I think Dr. Jung did a good job. My nose looks very natural. The only thing I wish is that I gave him the picture of the other nose I liked which was wider and flatter (this is more my style). I highly recommend them. Dr. Jung is literal and likes to please his clients. Make sure you take your time during the consultation.
