Currently I am more drawn to Dr Somboon. I have yet to see any photos of his work though. But I will be going in October most likely. I'll be having septal cartilage just to augment the tip, and if needed, the bridge.

I was just browsing Dr Wang's website and saw this post on results with septal cartilage. This is exactly what I need http://www.wangmd.cn/english/2823.html

Hi Davids,
:smile:The B&A photos looks pretty good. Is Dr. Wang in China? Who is Dr. Somboon? Could you please show more his information? I am still researching a rhinoplasty specialist to my nose revision. I am going to do it in OCT this year, too. What is your decision?:wlae:

Hey Pei Pei, no I'm not going with Dr Wang, he's in China (I think). I just like to look at photos from doctors anywhere just to get a feel of what I want done to my nose. From the website I posted at the bottom that's what I want my profile to be like. But the front Im not sure yet.

Dr Somboon is a doctor at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok. They didn't have information on their website about asian augmentation, so I had to email them and they referred me to Dr Somboon (http://www.bumrungrad.com/doctors/Somboon-Waiprib)
And he said the price will be like the Rhino 2.1 package (http://www.bumrungrad.com/en/plastic-surgery-thailand-bangkok/rhinoplasty-nose-2-1)

I feel quite good about this doctor, but like I've said, I still have to go for a consultation to get a solid judgement.

well from what I know it is more suitable to get surgery during the winter then the summer, because I think you heal better. I'm sure you'll be fine, you'll probably spend most of your time recovering in your hotel anyways

I'm from Canada so the cold is nothing new to me lool

Hi Davids, thank you for explain to me and your information, but they do not have any B&A pictures on their web site. If you feel good about Dr. Somboon , you just go with him. I think travel to Bangkok that is fun.
When are you going to there?

My surgery is approaching and I'm nervous.
Those who have had silicone/goretex implants for your nose, do the implants feel natural? After your nose heals, can you still push it up and sideway (the flexibility)? If the surgeon uses cartilage, it should feel natural right?
Can you do the combination of rib for the bridge then ear or septal cartilage for the nose?
