thank you...I have been taking pumpkin drink, pumkin soup, vit c, zinc and diosmin for swelling...its only the 3rd day so my face still look swollen.

He use closed method but I can see my right nostril are bigger then the left..I guess he operate my nose from there. I ask him to help remove my scar tissues that block my right nostril as well..now I x feel the blockage..but my nose still look fat..

It was only a little swollen when he first closed up the incision in the nostril then come day 3 when swelling peaked it was really obvious one side was more swollen. Ure day 3 so thats when ure swelling peaked too. When ure about day 7 where i am you will notice things balancing out. happy healing

yes. less invasive, lower risk of internal scarring, does not reduce elasticity of the collumela. Most people are actually suitable for closed rhinoplasty. Reason why most surgeons are adamant about open is not because it cannot be done via closed, but because the surgeon is not trained in closed rhinoplasty. Only the most extreme cases truly need to be done via open rhino. Oh and cartilage grafts to the bridge area need to be done by open i think. Ive yet to come across a surgeon who does cartlage grafts through closed rhino. Tho it may be just that those who do cartilage grafts to the bridge are not trained in closed rhino...

so K if the procedure requires soft silicon for nose augmentation... it can be done thru closed as well? i have a very short low nose.. so definitely i need silicon and ear cartilage for the tip of my nose. thanks.

tip area with the current materials available, will not be performed using any artificial implants. It will be bone with either cartilage or dermis. Bridge area is very ideal that it is using ultra soft silicone and not hard silicone, goretex or cartilage, all for different reasons. I explained why in detail in previous posts on this thread. And yes it can be one through close rhinoplasty. Mine was done on the 7th of May with ultra soft silicone and cartilage for collumela and dermis for tip all through closed rhino with a surgeon who specialises in closed rhino. I absolutely love my results and recovery was quick and easy becase of how non invasive the procedure is. I didnt even need a deep packing that went down your throat. Just one for the side of my right nostril which i removed on my own in 4 hours.

May I ask if you feel any stiffness/change in smiles after. I always though that rib noses are hard only if they use the L method with one rib sticking from you radix to the tip of the nose. Is it still hard when you opted for ear/septal cartilages?
