Sorry for the late reply- been busy. It should allow for you to view them, if not, just go into the 'blog' section located below.

Dr. Kwon is very thorough with each cases description and his methods.

Hi all!!
OMG I haven't been here nor checked my email for soooo long and I came back to apologize to those who wrote me an email asking about the clinic information!! I made that "naver" email only for my ps journey use since I've heard some clinics in Korea charge you a bit cheaper if it seems like you know Korea well or you have Korean friends.
I got my surgery from April 31 ps clinic by Dr. Jae Hoon Kim because some of my Chinese friends told me that he is the best in nose job or something. I don't think I can email each one of you back again so here, i just said it. Since I'm not 100% innocent now, mentioning the name of the clinic I got my surgery from, I will share another story.
After sharing my pictures and experience here in Purseforum really carefully so that I'm not promoting anything, April31 clinic actually reached me asking if i was ok with my pictures on on-line anyways, might as well give them the right to use them in trade of 500,000 won refund?! I had no reason to say no, so now my selfies with my eyes censored are on their blogs lol. So anybody who wants to save about 500$ from your surgery cost, I think asking your clinic can be an option. That was my last tip for you and I don't think I will really come back here... at least for a while since I know there are some people in this forum who will start hating me from now. Believe it or not, I don't blame you. This whole plastic surgery in a foreign country thing with all those unethical ones who try to make some money off our face and life, it really makes you "believe nobody". Which is a smart thing I say, better being careful than sorry. Bye everybody and thank you one more time for all the information and support I got from here. I sincerely wish you all the best in your ps journey!!

Hi all,

I have been out of this forum for quite some time and was hoping I would be "strong" enough not needing another revision from the botched job that I had from Toriumi and Jung -- but I'm not. My top 2 revision specialists are still Dr. Lee at VIP and Dr. Ting Wang from Dalian, China. If you live in Texas, and had revision with either of the 2 doctors I mentioned above, or know doctors that you think are good with revisions, I would love to talk to you! Please PM please. I would so appreciate it! Thank you all!

Is lateral osteotomy ideal for someone that doesn't have a very high nose bridge but with wide and flat nasal bones? I still don't get how this is done on an Asian face and what it achieves since the ones that do show up on search have some sort of implant involved. Anyone have any insight? Much appreciated!

I've had a few emails with Dr. Wang:

I was VERY thorough with my wants/needs and he just seemed to agree with them all and added that I was "too concise" (pretty much...). That sort of gave me a red flag since he didn't deem it necessary that I was thorough with what type of nose and what implants, methods I wanted and what he thought would be a good fit.

I got the impression that he has a standard of how his noses will turn out. Don't get me wrong- his B&A's look good for what they are but, if you look at the more 'extreme' noses- they all look pretty much the same. Then you have those rare ones that look more 'natural' but, again- it's just a less extreme version of the super pointed noses he can create.

I was also a bit scared since he mentioned that he used goretex and when I asked about the ultra soft silicone, he didn't have much to say about it and categorized it as "any other silicone". Also, what irked me the most was that he wanted to do a "touch up" after 6 months. Why would I even need that? So, basically you're giving me a nose that might get botched within 6 months that you already pre-determined that I come back to fix?

I e-mailed asking why I would need to but, no reply and it's been a couple months now. That's another thing- it took many weeks to get any sort of reply back from him. If i had serious complications after my nose job with him, and it takes him THAT long, that's a total risk.

Anyhow, VIP looks good too but, I hate how Dr. Lee's noses have no definition. Just looks like rolled Play-Doh on the face or a pitched tent.

Oh, and have you come across O&Young? I'm really considering them but still hunting for a good PS(I'm very picky). I really like how they harvest their own "material/cells" for revision cases and they have that nice curve and projection from the profile and 45 angle.
The only problem is that I don't think they have anyone that speaks English... :/

UGH, the hunt continues...

Hi all,

Would like to make sure everyone is aware of this. I called up Regen and realised that the 2 surgeons who got good review in Purse Forum are no longer performing surgeries. Dr Lee Seok Jun for nose and face contouring as well as Dr Yu Ji Han for body contouring recently stopped performing surgery at Regen (Don't know if that means they are leaving or not). The new surgeons for nose is now Park Shin Hong and for body contouring is Kim Do Hyung. I dropped Regen right the way.

From all the research I've done, I realised that many surgeons like to team up with their schoolmates to open clinics at the beginning. E.g. JW's surgeons are Yonsei Uni graduates, Dream and View are Seoul National Uni graduates, Life is Hanyang Uni. Big busy clinics tend to have surgeons from all over the place.

In the past, most surgeons from Regen are Seoul National U graduates (Top Uni in Korea). But the 2 new surgeons for nose and body look young and are from some pretty unknown schools...

It's purely my personal preference to have someone from a reputable school. Ofcourse I believe there are good surgeons coming from unknown schools as well, but I believe certain degree of pride from a famous school will push them to perform. Just personal opinion.

Hi guys,

I'm travelling to Korea in september for a revision rhinoplasty. Hotel and tickets are booked, but i don't know what clinic to choose.
Here are clinics that I want to visit:
1) Regen
2) Dream
3) Wonjin
4) JW
5) April 31

Do you guys know them? I'd love to hear your opinions because i'm so confused.
Thank you guys,

you can find detailed reviews on dream, wonjin, jw and april 31 if you do do research through this forum. I havent seen one of regen yet or maybe i just missed it.

But ultimately the deciding factor should be how your consultations go. Good luck!

I personally would choose wonjin. Dr. park is very skilled when it comes to noses and they have that standard 'korean actor/actress' look to them. Also, for some reason on the korean site, they had park min young on it but then took it down. so, I guess its safe to say that park min young got stuff done here too. also, dr. park charges extra to have him so its going to be pretty pricey if you book with him.

Dream is also up there for me and a lot of SM celebs hit it up but, it would be too dumb to base it off of the clients they get. They dont have too many b&a's but its still popular to locals which says something.

I have one friend that got her eyes done at regen and it looks really nice.

Thank you for your post, it really helps!

Actually I'm gonna cancel at Regen, I heard that their rhino surgeon has gone and that the new one looks too Young to get many experiences...

Do you have any idea about the price for a revision rhinoplasty with dr Park at Wonjin?
They quoted me around 5000$ by email without any detail about the surgeon

Hey thank you! I've read some good reviews about these clinics but they were all about V-line. I'd like to have some reviews about revision rhinoplasty you know.
