taeyang123
hey i would also love to see your before and after pics if you don't mind. i am quite keen on getting a rib rhinoplasty, and it would be cool to see one that hasn't been done at vip. my email is [email protected] or feel free to add me as a contact as well
a_sa
Hey, april_may Well, my dissatisfaction assosiated mostly with the shape of my nose. It was done by Russian surgeon lol So it was only lifted and that's all. I mean the surgeon was not so good for that kind of surgery. And now , I have a nose which doesn't fit to my face. My nose has a little assymetry and I don't like my nose tip. Plus the nostrils are too wide. Before I had a small flat nose, it was more tum-up. And I'm thinking about what exactly I need to refresh it. By the way, I saw your pictures, and I think there is nothing to worry about. Your nose shape is good, and most likely it will be for good
turningpoint
Hi April_May, Thank you so much. I think you are really fast healer, your 11 days post photo show no sign of bruises and swollen. I like the shape too.
april_may
Thanks turningpoint. I was surprised I had lil to no bruises this time. my previous 2 rhinos gave me serious bruisings. I still do have 'traces' of swelling guess the swelling is more apparent frontal view.

phoebeng
Hi! Has anyone done rhinoplasty at PAI thailand? I heard it was good and that I can leave on the 5th day post op. But i dont know The doctor who will be performing the rhinoplasty. They sounded professional in Their emails though and they do speak english so it would be easier to go there Rather than taiwan. Any info would be good thank you! Hoping to go before the end of this year. Im still considering Dr Hsu taiwan because i heard many good things about him. But money is an issue and timing is a bigger issue! And my mandarin is not too good. Please help!!! I was hoping to get mine nose done this month but im scared. Both Doctors recommended implant for my nose as i have a low bridge and something About my tip having too much skin?!? Anyways its just a bulbous flat nose and i really Want to fix it. I appreciate any help thank you!!

lexethan
Hey. Didn't realize you had rib cartilage rhinoplasty at O&Young! It seems O&Young and VIP are two of the most popular clinics for rib rhino. How long has it been? How much did you pay? Mind sharing a couple of B&A? Thanks. april_may
hey, yea i had autologous rib rhino at o&y on jan 29 so its 15days post op for me. for rib rhino i paid 11,000,000won(about US$10,000 i think). i've added you to my contacts
april_may
Hi Phoebeng, I had my primary rhino at PAI with Dr. Preecha in Dec2006 using L-shape silicon. If I remember correctly i read that Dr preecha pioneered some sex change surgery technique. So then i assumed he was THE expert in plastic surgery plus he was relatively cheaper and that was y i hastily went to him. O boy was that the biggest mistake of my life. IMO if preecha could come up with some technique then he must be a pretty damn experienced PS and IMO he shoulda known that L-silicon on nose tip is prone to extrusion just like mine eventually did. So either he doesn't give a sh** or he was just not as experienced as i thought he would be with rhinoplasty. and i ended up with a badly infected, deformed and disfigured nose which took 3 revision rhinoplasties (and lots of $$$) just to get my nose to look ok again. So word of advice, don't pinch pennies!!! look for a PS that is reputed n specialises in one specific area of plastic surgery. Hope this is helpful. kain
i agree with this. if a doctor offers L-shaped silicone implants after the year 2010, then do not go to that doctor. since surgeons nowadays can achieve a very good result using I-shaped silicone, a doctor that uses L-shaped silicone is just pure lazy and unethical
lexethan
O&Young used to be much cheaper than VIP isn't it? It's now about $1000 cheaper. Thanks for the add! However, your link doesn't seem to be working. Might be just me. Keep us updated. Glad you're liking your new nose.
