asin
I have a question - when you go to a clinic like Banoobagi, do you know which doctor you are going to see? In the US i know which doctor will be performing my surgery, and at VIP it's going to be Dr. Lee. I really like Banoobagi's before/after pics but they have like 10 doctors at the hospital. Who is gonna do what? What if you get stuck with the newbie doctor?! Kain- I tried to register for Naver. I got to the page where I enter a username, email, etc etc. When I try to submit this box keeps popping up. Apparently I filled something out wrong but I don't know what! I've tried changing my username, password, etc but it won't go through and I don't know what the message in the box says.
greatnose
May I ask if anyone in VIP has done a slightly more curved and upturned nose. Allow me to share this girl's nose before and after. She did her nose in VIP. I am worried VIP can only do those point down nose tip.
kain
i haven't actually tried registering for naver or daum. try using google translate to find out what the popup says i think there is also an iphone app that translates text if you take a picture of it. so if you have an iphone you can translate it as well. snowlicious
Has anyone here ever done eyelid revision with VIP? I'm going to VIP this mid March for rhino, eyes with Teuim or BK or Bando. However, it would be better If I could do all of them in one place simultaneously.

greatnose
She did hers in 21 Dec last year. the link is here. http://bbs.pink-baby.net/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=16153&pid=98685 But you need to register first before viewing. This forum is set up by a PRC girl who undergone 200+ surgeries. She was featured in media before. I think some British, Ameria Channel reported about her too. Majority of PRC went to O & YOUNG nowadays after a successful surgery story posted on that forum. When I consulted o & YOUNG in 2010, there were not many foreigners there. Now becuz of the influx of PRCs doing surgery there, they started mass marketing in PRC market. their price has increased almost doubled since 2010.But o &YOUNG stopped doing self rib cartilage since end of last year. They only operated on donated rib. Else I would choose them too. Cuz I truly like the before & after photo on their website. Luckily not many PRC went to VIP yet, so their price not much fluctuations now. Now I am quite sure that I want to use self rib cartilage for the tip construction. However I am deciding between whether to choose self rib cartilage for the bridge. I have personally consulted some chinese girls that did their surgeries with Dr Wang. And some feedback that there are warping, irregularities reabsorption, and shown of rib edge which makes nose bridge looks unnatural. Of course, there are also some that very satisified about the result. For those use rib cartilage for bridge in this forum, are you happy with the result? is the rib bridge natural? Thanks in advance for your kind sharing.
greatnose
When do you want to do your nose? I know a girl from a chinese forum. Her surgeries failed with Dr Wang. She got infection for her self cartilage nose. In the end, she got it fixed in another chinese doctor. But of course, any doctor will have satisfied and unsatisfied patients. kain
i had this bookmarked for a whilehttp://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19917899http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cts=1331361564722&ved=0CCUQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fent.wustl.edu%2Foto%2Fotoweb.nsf%2F208a72445c0bb4e186256cde00604463%2F9b6382b9665e3509862575b3006725aa%2F%24FILE%2FIrradiated%2520cartilage0106.2010.pdf&ei=5vZaT7iGNNHJiQLR4NS3Cw&usg=AFQjCNEqKWpVdK9qkMcZyAR2swEDJxr_wQ&sig2=B1baIrfrQ17T4Wi8n-i7CQv they say that irradiated donated cartilage is good with low infection and resorption rates, which was surprising to me. i think if you were willing, getting silicone in the bridge, and donated cartilage in the tip is a viable option. that way, if the donated cartilage reabsorbs, its only in the tip and you can just get another graft. imo the real problem with donated cartilage reabsorbing is when it happens in the bridge because it probably won't reabsorb evenly and the bridge will look weird. if it only reabsorbs in the tip, the tip will just be a bit smaller and you might need another graft. make sure to do more research on donated cartilage if you are interested in that. if you look at the references section of the pdf i posted, you can probably find even more studies about donated cartilage
