saphireeni
Hiya, I think Dr Kao is better with male rhinoplasty. He's a very honest, patient doctor but my primary didn't go well. My nose is crooked, tip is rectangle shaped and my nostrils are uneven. He also failed to realise that I would need lateral osteotomy to balance out my tiplasty. I was quite unlucky with my nose. I know a few guys that had great rhino results with him though!
saphireeni
Could I ask who your primary was with?
saphireeni
I'm also going for revision and possible eye bag removal. Would you mind sharing which clinics are on the top of your list? I'm considering: JW VIP Shimmian (but I've read Dr Jung is better with male noses...) I wish I can consulted with Regen and Grand, but I didn't have time. Also looking into Japanese clinics but they all seem to use L and I shaped implants still.
pei-pei
Hi Saphireeni, your list seems pretty match mine. Please share your experience with me in your further surgeries!
saphireeni
I was shown Kain's photos during my consultation at VIP. Do doctor's ask for permission before using them as sample slideshows?
saphireeni
Pei Pei, I'm still lost. I hear Dr Jung is better with men's nose (and mine is masculine plenty after my primary), VIP are unknown to locals because they advertise to foreign clientele and JW Dr Woo is not a rhinoplasty specialist. Still no luck finding recommendations for Japanese clinics that don't reply on silicon. There's so much information I'm pretty confused. If anyone has any recommendations from experience for rhino revision doctors please PM me
iryth
well truthfully I am quite shocked to hear that, because many s.expat forummers praise his work a lot, and I actually put him as my first choice, now I am quite confused. And I am so sorry to hear it didn't go well for you.I sincerely hope your next one succeed. May I know what kind of material did he use for you? Do you ever consider Dr Ryan Hsu in taiwan? I heard he is also the most famous one there besides dr kao. My primary was with a doctor in Indonesia, it went well, the shape quite nice, but I am considering revision because I just knew that he put L-shape silicone and I am worried about skin thinning although there's still no sign yet. scind
u might wanna try Aone. they also give a lot of options for you to augment your nose bridge. and their price isnt as expensive as vip. =) i'm planning to do my nose with dr kwon too using ear cartilage and temporal fascia, if i wasnt wrong.. pei-pei
Hi Saphireeni, there is a specialist at JW, but he is not Dr. Woo. I am still putting VIP on my top list so far, JW did not give detail reply after I sent my pictures. I also think about Dr. Jung in Shimmian. If you have any better idea, could you please share with me?
kisskissbang
Hey Pei Pei, Just curious how much they charge for eye-bag removal? I'm interested in it as well. =)
pei-pei
Hi kisskissbang, $1800.00 in Shimmain, $3000.00 in VIP, but I don 't the price of JW.
pei-pei
Hi Hoangtl154, I sent my photos to them, their answer was very rough. I could not have the price. I think I will have the price until I go to see the doctors at Jw.
jentala
Thats not true I, just had surgery apr30/13 with dr. Jung and he made my nose so nice, also alot of the clientele was local korean women and korean male models( pretty cute). It was my 3rd nose job so i was really nervous, to bad nose jobs in north america. He used ear cartilage and synthetic tissue. Anyways my old nose really took away from my face cuz it looked really thin and mj looking. Now, I want to cry at how much better it looks! I suggest him out of anyone, I also went for consultations at grand and aone, 3 different rec, yet his was the best. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/46/photozwp.jpg/
karliee
Has anyone who underwent rib rhinoplasty (on the bridge, tip or both) seen signs of warping? It would be great to hear updates from posters in Asian Nose Job 2.
