smilebaby123 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Hey guys! I just had my nose job! Did you guys experience a lot of swelling during recovery? I am 3 days out and while I think my profile in the splint/cast looks pretty good, the actual base/tip of my nose looks quite piggy and huge. He used ear cartilage for my nose. Do people of Asian descent swell up as much as say, Caucasians? Should I panic at this point that it will stay huge? Thanks!
plasticbuns Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Congrats! You're only 3 days in so don't panic. It'll take months for swelling to go down. Swelling/bruising depends on the individual. Just ice/hot pack as much as you can and eat foods that help reduce swelling.
