I read somewhere in the forum that one of the contour specialist left for DAPRS clinic.

smilingheart
Hello, I had rhinoplasty nearly 9mtha ago. 4.5 silicon implant and tip plasty with septal cartilage plus far graft on forehead cheeks and chin. Has anyone else had similar op? I Have found almost all the far graft has gone And my nose and face have changed significantly throughout the months. It actually looked much more defined a couple mths ago but now the bridge and tip is not very defined anymore and I am worried it is going to settle down to almost no difference within the year!! I did it at migo. Does anyone have any advice? I'm considering fillers to increase bridge but scared it will irritate or worse infect!
riko12
May I ask what do you mean by "4.5 silicone implant"? It is not advisable to put two type of foreign subject together, have read some case have serious infection or make the implant unstable (easily shifting maybe because of fillers?) lizqian
For those that have already gotten rhinoplasty, how many days did it take for you to be presentable? As in with makeup on, no one will notice except maybe yourself and surgeon?

davids
How long after surgery did you guys start wearing glasses and sunglasses again? I am 4 weeks and 3 days post op now. I had lateral osteotomy and I'm scared to use glasses/sunglasses right now. Never realised how heavy they were.
cyntoronto
Hi everyone~ Just like all forum users, I've been benefiting from everyone else's research on my quest to nose revision. I finally had surgery yesterday~ so I want to share my experience and hopefully you find it useful =) Translator: I highly recommend hiring a good translator service. There are plenty of good ones forum users recommended. I acquired Anita's service. The two translators Jason and Ning were more than I can ever hope for. We have become friends and you can feel the sincerely. And if you are traveling alone like me, having that emotional support from experienced locals is priceless. I know others say translator gets commission from clinics, I personally don't see it as a problem at all. As long as you do your own research. They should get commission. The amount they charge to us is ridiculously low. And my translators helped me negotiate prices and saved me 10% on the surgery cost. I would never able to do this on my own. PS: rhinoplasty revision, full face fat graft, lip filler, PRP skin treatment, hydro skin injection. Clinics : I booked 5 clinics. The first one I went to, their doctor went aboard..so I went to the 2nd clinic on the list. Please make sure to call ahead to make sure the dr. Is in. The second one I went to was REX. It's not a big clinic but from the recent forum positive reviews, I went in with confidence. The clinic has Chinese speaking staff and dr. Chung also speaks decent English. After consultation, I put down deposit and scheduled surgery the next day. On surgery day: met with dr. Chung before surgery and went over all the item on the list one more time. De. Chung is very assertive and calm. Instantly put me at ease. The Chinese staff was with me the whole time during surgery to attend to all my needs. Post operation day 1: feeling pretty good. Soreness n puffiness but no pain. No need of pain killer. Already liking the photos I've been taking for progress. Face looks a lot fuller..can't wait for the swollen to subside. ladybugz
Hey everyone, For those of you who are familiar with nose jobs... I had a nose job on September 30th in Korea. When they removed the cast, I was THRILLED. My nose was sharp, thin/narrow, and high -- just like I wanted. Even the alarplasty work was perfect (I did not pay for alarplasty, but the surgeon decided to do it for me free of charge because I had one that scarred awkwardly a while ago). Two days ago (October 18), I woke up with my nose noticeably wider. I tried to ignore it and told myself it was just swelling. Yesterday it continued, and I noticed that one of my nostrils was still very swollen and the other was not (making it look LOWER and asymmetrical). Again, I figured it was just swelling. Today I woke up and my bridge looked nearly non-existent (even though they put a 5 mm implant in!!!!). I am horrified -- is it possible for your old noses to "grow back?," or is this just some weird swelling? I better not be destined to a wide nose forever! I am NOT interested in getting plastic surgery ever again, so this better turn out well. Ugh.
taeyang123
wow that is very odd :s maybe it is cuz of swelling. If you got a high implant it is impossible for it to disappear. Maybe with cartilage this can happen but with silicon I dont think so. What did you get for the tip?
