chansy
Mark Ho-Asjoe. I can't find any reviews on him but I thought I'll go along with an open mind. I was also considering Julian De Silva but his rhinoplasty comes with a £7500 price tag *faints* How about you? Have you had one done yet? If yes, in the UK or abroad? jlalala
So maybe this is a weird question but for anyone who got rhino (especially open rhino) how did it affect your skin in that area? Like, I'm looking to get a hump removal and tiplasty next month probably and I'm just wondering how this will affect my skin since I bruise/scar really easily and I've already gotten some broken capillaries around my nose from over exfoliating or something....just wondering~ Thanks! jillyqueen
Hey let me know how it goes. My nose bled easily when I was young and I had to undergo a burning splint treatment to patch a hole (caused by an injury)

icefox
Has anybody gone to Dr. Wang (Chinese surgeon) recently? All those people from years ago stopped coming here to report, I mean there was that one guy who said positive stuff about Dr. Wang's clinic. But everyone who was interested kinda vanished. I really like his results (wangmd.cn), they don't look too fake and he seems to be an expert at nose jobs (and chin augmentation), especially the nasal tip. Even Dr. Wang, himself, went under the knife (his own clinic). I think though, he charges more than S. Korean clinics but I can't seem to find any K surgeon close to him (his results). IF you guys can recommend any surgeon who has identical results please tell me. Thank you! --I read on some website about Angelababy's surgery a post regarding "Dr. wang did an amazing job".--
z125
It seemed worrisome to me that Dr. Wang's patient reviews all seemed like they weren't frequent or didn't exist too, before I got my procedure done I looked into him as well. Personally (I'm not an expert or anything though) I've looked at his before and after pictures and (don't take my word for this but maybe see for yourself) it almost seems like he uses different people for the before afters and photoshops the rest of the face (face shape, ears, brows, etc.) to make it seem like they were the same patient. Sometimes patients who had moles in their befores didn't in their afters or had freckles instead in different places and their hairlines and face shape seemed different. I've really wanted to ask if anyone else noticed what I did. I'm not trying to discount the positive reviews and he might really be a good surgeon but be wary! My gut told me that there was something off but I might just be seeing things, Good luck! Also about Angelababy that's the first time I've heard that, supposedly she went through great lengths to prove she never had any plastic surgery but her chin and nose definitely changed over the years. z125
@Jlalala I've gotten open rhino and I have thick oily skin. After the procedure my nose developed some black heads but nothing quite noticeable unless you closely scrutinize it. No acne either, however right after the cast came off my skin seemed flaky like if you scratched it white heads would just flake out of your pores. But you shouldn't worry too much because according to some doctors on real self, the skin should return to normal condition after a couple weeks. higher
Hi! I just registered on purseforum!! I read around too before and seen the view does good job for their rhino. But I'm weighing around on their prices...are they flexible?
monixtuma
I'm interested with nose surgery at JW Clinic because good reviews on internet and the result are still natural. Nose specialist are able to speak good english so there is no barrier during consultation, Dr. Suh is really popular on internet. But, i was quoted in KRW for 5,500,000 KRW (5,500 USD). I keep received email like this is that the same thing. I think it's better to paid in KRW rather than USD. What kind or procedures you will be have so you quoted like that ? Alar reduction ? Nasal bridge augmentation ? or tip correction ? For me it's alar reduction, nasal bridge augmentation with implant and tip correction. I don't have crooked or hooked nose. In korea, mostly are used silicon implant. I am not sure with rib cartilage. Some are used ear cartilage with fascia and used to build the nose bridge, it can also used to build the nose tip. Paranasal augmentation will be help to correct the sunken area of the mid area of the face as the implant helps to re-enforce the tissue as well as structurally transforming the mid area of the face. If the area next to your nose lacks in volume and appears flat, the correction can be made by inserting an artificial implant such as silicone through an incision inside the mouth. Paranasal augmentation surgery is a surgery which adds volume to the sunken area around the nose. This results in mouth being less protruded and more youthful and multidimensional face. I hope it's helpful. That's what i've learnt so far during my consideration for plastic surgery. ;p
microchip
For paranasal, for chickens like me, I had fillers a few times spread over 4 years, I think, and for the last 3 or 4 years, I did not have fillers because my doctor said maybe it was the collagen building up so I didn't need fillers. But I think I will go again to have fillers this year after my nose and eye surgeries.Maybe this will help some of you in case you want alternatives. mimi2016
Hello there, I'm a chicken too ~~ may I ask what kind of fillers did you use? Did you have it done in the US or Korea?
microchip
I done my first 2 times using Restylane and later Perlane in London with a very nice lady doctor - she was superb and managed to remove my marriot lines. The later follow-ups were done in Burbank (Los Angeles) using Restylane and later the last one Juverderm was done in London. That was years ago - I think I need to top up this year but I can wait a few months since the lines are not appearing yet. Ooops, are we going out of topic or in the wrong thread? mimi2016
Let me bring us back to the topic =))))) I'm thinking about going to Korea this March for tip and alars. My nose's height is not ideal but I'm okay with it. It's just the tip is so upturned it upsets me so much T__T I heard that they usually suggest fillers or implant for the nasolabial folds when doing nose jobs. And because I have those folds, not that deep though, but I think since my alars will be reduced it will make the folds appear more prominently. I know Korean doctors are superb for rhinoplasty, but I'm not sure about their fillers injection skills.
