I found this article through Google. I hope you find it helpful:

4 Natural Ways to Remove Acne Scars Forever!

You know - I think it is probably easier to get rid of your old habits than those terrible acne scars! I mean, these scars don't just disfigure your face; they can also stay for a long time, which is why they are quite annoying to say the least! So, is there something you can do to remove them quickly and easily? Well, in this article I will tell you about 4 easy and natural methods you can apply in order to get rid of acne scars completely!

I must tell you beforehand: please keep your expectations reasonable! I mean, if you are undergoing an expensive surgery, that is one thing, but when you are using homemade treatments, it would take some time for the scars to heal, so please don't expect overnight cure! The advantage of these treatments is that most of them are inexpensive and free from any kind of side-effects; if you want to get rid of your blemishes but are short on budget, these remedies are what you should use!

1. Tomatoes: You might have eaten those sweet-n-sour tomatoes a dozen times but did you know they can also help you get rid of acne scars? Tomatoes are a rich source of Vitamin A which is why it nourishes and rejuvenates your skin. By helping your skin grow quickly, it manages to remove the scars from your face!

Using tomatoes for acne scar removal is very easy: no, obviously you won’t be eating tomatoes; instead, you should slice a tomato into four pieces, crush them into a pulp, and apply the paste on your face! There is another method you can use which is a bit more complicated: take tomatoes and avocados/cucumbers, grind them together to make a paste out of them, and then apply it on your face as a facemask.

No matter which method you use, it is recommended that you keep the tomatoes on your skin for at least an hour, before washing your face with lukewarm water!

2. Sandalwood: Sandalwood is yet another remedy for quick acne scar removal! Mix sandalwood with rosewater to make a paste, and then apply that paste on your face (assuming that you got acne scars on your face, if you have got the scars in some other area of your body then that is where you should apply the paste instead). Don't wash off the paste from your face too quickly, no matter what! You should keep the sandalwood paste on your face for at least an hour or longer (I would suggest that you apply the paste on your face at bedtime and leave it there overnight), after which you can wash off your face with a mild soap and water!

3. Lemon Juice: The lemon juice treatment for acne scar removal is quite similar to the sandalwood treatment discussed above, in that you need to apply the juice from the crushed lemon on your face at bedtime using a clean cotton swab or cotton ball, and leave it there overnight! The strong acidic and anti-bacterial components of this vegetable would help get rid of the scars and blemishes caused by acne (if drunk, it also detoxifies your body)!

You might experience burning sensation immediately after applying the juice but it usually lasts only for a little while. If the skin burns too much then dilute the juice with water! Please note that daily usage of lemon can cause your skin to go dry, so, in case you notice flakey skin then add a little bit of honey or (if you are applying the juice at bedtime, in which case it would be difficult for you to get sound sleep with honey on your face) milk to the lemon juice!

4. Mederma Gel: Did you know that the Mederma gel is extremely effective in minimizing the ugly appearance of acne scars? Well, that is because this gel is rich in both Aloe Vera and onion! Note that it does NOT remove your acne scars completely, but if you are going to say, a party, then this gel can reduce the visibility of the acne scars on your face. Usage instructions: you can apply it on your face for no more than four times a day; in case you experience any kind of skin irritation, then you should immediately STOP its usage!

Note that these are just some of the methods you can use for acne scar removal; there so many more acne scar removal remedies used widely!

Ive had laser treatment on my face, and it worked. But over time as you age, your skin will start to sag and that results in the acne scars sinking into the skin again.

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I think that you shouldn't mislead people by attaching a link to your site. And a word of advice, check your grammar =)

I got fraxel for my acne scarring last May and unfortunately it only made my skin worse. not only did my scars not disappear i've been breaking out profusely ever since. does anyone know why???? i don't know if it's because of the fraxel treatment but i started breaking out almost immediately following the treatment, and when i went back to the clinic they said they've never seen a case like this...

When you say scars, so you mean red marks? Do you mean indentations like pock marks? Or do you mean ice pick scars?

I have several deep ice pick scars and researched all over the internet. Twelve years ago, I found a doctor who does a skin grafting procedure that takes skin from behind your ears and fills the scars. Very few doctors do this and opt for fillers etc that simply won't work on ice pick scars.

It is not painful, can be long depending on how many scars. You will be a mess for a few weeks and need to hide out. The grafts on your face will scab over and you must wait for the scabs to fall on their own. Then they will be red. A laser can help with the redness and facilitate the remainder of healing.

My skin which was something I was embarrassed about for years is now the envy of everyone. I literally get compliments on it all the time. That it looks like porcelain. My dermatologist is very thorough and a perfectionist. Only problem is he no longer has a laser. So he would send you to someone else after the procedure if you wanted to use the laser on the red marks. He had a laser at the time.

But if your scars are red marks or poc marks you can use other methods. Send me an private IM if you want the name of my doctor to have the procedure I had

hi,

i have tried using the co2 laser for my indented acne scars.
They have improved quite well, even though in some certain light, they are still noticable.

@ktilang
Usually using fraxel (Co2) laser treatment will help in reducing the breakout. My suggestion would be to see a dermatologist soon, so that they don't develop into scars. Scars are harder to remove.

@melissa
What treatment did you do? and do you have any other kinds of scars?
I believe that the red marks can heal in time (but it takes a very long time, probably 1 year).
I also sometimes feel a bit embarrassed because of these red marks in my shoulder and chest..sigh.. If you know a hollistic way or a safe way to remove it, please kindly share with us, okay?

thank you

I wish I could get rid of my scars. I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation which I know will go away, but my severe acne has left scars on my cheeks are forehead. It looks even worse with makeup over it.

You're probably not in South Korea or Asia but if you ever pop over then you should make an appointment with Hoo clinic. They specialize in relieving and eliminating acne scars through something called Transtherapy. It isn't as harsh as lasers and chemical peels. It takes multiple sessions over multiple weeks but the results are astounding. I thought you might want to consider another option. I hope you get better OP

There are a number of treatments available in the market that may not be effective. On the contrary, laser treatment for the removal of scars is quite effective and has a high rate of success. The success rate of laser treatment is up to 99% because it removes deep pitted scars made by acne.it is important to keep in mind the success rate is largely based on a number of various factors like the type of skin you have and how deeply the scars have rooted. It is therefore advisable that you should consult a cosmetic surgeon.

I have done lasers before for my acne scars, not much improvement for me. I did one session of subcision and it work much better for my scars. My friends asked me if I have done anything to my skin bcoz they noticed that my scars are much less obvious. However, subcision work best for rolling scars and if combined with laser treatment.

Over the years, I get many new acne scars again. I understand how you feel about being depressed, I feel the same everytime when I look at myself in the mirror. With age, the scars become more obvious. I am no longer young but my acnes are still very active.

I think most clinics will suggest fraxel for scars... came across an article about onion juice for acne scar treatment and I'm wondering if that would help lol!

Also heard about a subcision called innofill in korea, some sort of rf subcision that's supposed to be really good. Does anyone have experience with this?

No one laser help you with your skin... Unfortunately it doesnt work.
I can advise several methods.
first of all is Subcision. Check it in Internet. Its for scar , not for postacne. http://scar.kyiv.sidstudio.com.ua/sites/default/files/img.2_8.jpg

After this prosedure need to use vacuum on the scar. To keep it up.

For postacne dermaroller is very good. After it you need to use vitamins C and A on your skin.
Also TCA cross. Its 100%. Only on the scar, not on all face. http://cdn.acne.org/ipb_uploads/med_gallery_8442_276_1094687143.jpg
Also good method is here http://www.skincora.com/eng/images/eng_06.gif
Vitamin B5 10000 mg every day inside. It helps to reduce fat production on skin.
Remember that you need to do it in complex and for a long time - half year at least. Sorry for my bad English.
