sheonlylooks25 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Found ID's English site - I am so excited. The English site is so professional. Park Sang-Hoon is the creator of V-Line surgery, he originally did the surgery on cancer patients. Also he adds Gortex if you are concerned about your cheeks sagging afterwards.http://eng.idhospital.comhttp://eng.idhospital.com/face/face02.php Every patient undergoes the aseptic air shower system before surgery to limit infection. Post op you are monitored by a proper nurse, 5 patients per nurse. You stay overnight at the hospital. Does not sound anything like the other places I have read about where you can't find a bed to rest afterwards before leaving.
sheonlylooks25 Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Have a look at these YouTube videos on V-Line at ID in 2 partshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTxwMvWay1khttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p-pDmTHgqs&feature=related It shows EVERY bit of the journey from consultation to surgery to post op with her feeling slightly unsteady to getting instructions on how take meds, the wrapping and leaving the hospital.
rebeccaaust Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Thanks for those SheOnlyLooks25. I'm from an Australian TV company doing research on multicultural beauty in the cosmetic age, really interested in PS in South Korea so these are great!
onlyif Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I will go there and have my PS done in a heartbeat if they have promotion in jan/feb. Do you know if they are famous locally? Planning to have my vline done there as well as zygoma and nose.
seoulforreal Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I went there last week and they speak English
crystallinesnow Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 They switch surgeons and get the juniors to operate on you when you're knocked out, so I'd never go there.
elisa123 Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Do they really switch surgeons? I was going to go there in July and have Dr Park but I'm really scared now!
wibbler Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Oh my god seriously? I was planning on going there when I land in Korea in 2 weeks... Anyone else also have negative experiences at ID?
barbiegirl73 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Thanks for sharing the video. I will be doing V-line surgery in May and this videos do help me understand the process a little. Kinda nervous now!
maggie0008 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Be careful with this place. I've been hearing horror stories about them for years in various sites. I had actually consulted with them over email and someone posing as Dr. Park recommended that I have v-line reduction (which I did not even inquire about). They sent me back a simulation and it looked absolutely ridiculous, I am the last person that needs v-line reduction. I looked like an alien. Thank god I had the good sense to not go there! I had my surgery at Banobagi and am pleased with the results (zygoma and jaw).
sarinasurgery Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Has anyone every had a success story from ID for facial contour surgery? It's been a few years since this thread and would love to hear recent experiences ^^
