I actually had a face to face consult with dream and shimmian. I didn't get to see JW as I was on vacation. I have a good impression of Dr Park but have not seem reviews in this thread.

Just wondering if anyone have had experience with dr park of Dream? I'm undecided between dream and JW. Feedback on JW looks really great. I've read a few hundred pages of this thread and seemed like JW is good.

Does anyone have experience with Dream? Pls share.

I've been away from this forum for quite some time, and am currently in Seoul again until June 24th...if you've read my previous posts, I have been to Dream Clinic for closed rhinoplasty and BK for mandible jaw reduction. Unfortunately, my first rhinoplasty was too minimal; my hump was not completely shaved off and the tip is still a bit bulbous. I'm back in Seoul to hopefully get a more (for lack of better word) 'drastic' rhinoplasty to completely shave off the hump and elongate my tip.
That is not to say that Dr. Park from Dream did a bad job; his outcome was just too subtle because I kept asking him to keep it natural. Also, closed-rhinoplasty is less drastic than open. I have already visited Item Clinic and Shimmian, and have a consultation at BK tomorrow. For anyone who's already in Seoul, it would be great to chat and/or meet up if possible cheers~

Hi Anne,I'm planning to see dr Park. How do you find dream post ops care? My Korean friend recommended dream but I'm not seeing much on this forum. How do you find his skills? What surgery did you do? Any information is appreciated as I want to correct my bulbous nose.

Xuka, I had a 2~3mm I-shaped silicone implant for nose bridge augmentation and also ear cartilage for my tip. Not sure if they used my septal cartilage as well. If it was a single procedure (rhinoplasty), it would have been $5.5mil won.



Reasons why I chose JW

[FONT=&quot]1. It's one of the clinics with a main entrance facing the road on the ground floor (most clinics are on separate floors of a large building). The ambience and classical music in the background was very soothing and comfortable. They even have 2 Greek statues standing on both sides of the entrance once you stepped in. I really liked the soft yellow lighting as well, the whole clinic just makes you feel calm.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2. I walked in just like that, did not book an appointment in advance but was greeted and treated very nicely and warmly. Waiting time was less than 15 minutes. They also treated my boyfriend very nicely, as if he's getting surgery as well. He's just there to accompany and interpret/translate for me. I suppose it is common practice but after an unpleasant experience of Pitangui dissing my boyfriend off, I appreciate how other clinics treat him even more.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]3. The only clinic (out of 5 that we visited) which offered beverages while we wait for the doctors. They even asked a few times because we rejected and when we requested for hot tea, the receptionist (CheongYun) offered to make it warm because it felt too hot in the clinic. That was very considerate of her. It’s a small thing but it spoke great volumes about their customer service. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]4. It was the only clinic that assigned specialists for eyes and nose separately. We consulted with Dr Kang for my double eyelids and then Dr Woo for my nose. Other clinics usually have one general surgeon working on multiple surgeries. We were assured by the specialization.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]5. The doctors were very thorough and honest. We were considering epicanthoplasty as well but Dr Kang did not recommend it since I didn’t need it, according to him.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]They had a report with diagrams and drew my current features and showed us how they will change/improve upon them. Both doctors cooperated and worked on the same copy of report and diagram.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Afterwards, we met the senior consultant to discuss the price.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]6. She was very sincere and helpful, offered to give her opinions from a female aesthetics point of view as well. My boyfriend thought that was a very nice touch. She’s a very friendly person, easy to talk to.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]7. We could ask for a markdown, the total price went from $6.7mil won to $5.8mil won. We couldn’t do so at other clinics. But even so, JW was definitely the priciest option I had.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Consultant assured us that if results are unsatisfactory, we can get free revisions with Dr Suh or Dr Choi. I can also get cheaper prices for future procedures.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I have also read through TPF and found positive reviews about JW. Other clinics had at least one negative review. If I remember correctly, one of the local translators mentioned that there wasn’t a single patient who's unhappy with JW.[/FONT]

Hey guys,

Change my schedule. I have already booked my tickets to Korea from Sept 1- 25. Will be doing eyes nose and jaw surgery in the three weeks! Have already hired Nicole, she is superb in replying my concerns in emails.

I'm still contemplating whether to stay in Highland Hotel or airbnb apartments.

I agree with you too. and think about it. if clinic provide free accommodation, how come? how do they pay for your accommodation? free accommodation means your surgery cost includes all the things, they already charge all the things and it seems free service to foriegners. there is no free service for you, no reason for free/cheap cost for you.

please research enoughly, book the flight ticket asap (can save money a lot!), book the cheap hotel and meet the best ps specialist. it is the most important for us, and check they have good and safe facilities. some small clinic don't have safe/clean operation room, installation.
e.g., if blackout comes during your surgery, who saves your life? your doctor? nurse? staff? horibble. please check up ps clinic/hospital have ups (uninterruptible power supply). few ps clinics/hospital has it.

last week, my forum friend kakao me and she will visit korea for revision, actually she got rhinoplasty in seoul, famous ps clinic with facial rhinoplasty specialist, but implant is deviate. who save her time? the nurse will injection needle to her vessel. Oh,,,, poor my buddy.

There are many china and korea forum discuss about plastic surgery in korea, they have more info then here regarding clinic review and what you should take note for before your plastic surgery, which I already post some in my previous post.

And for more bad review from clinic which I found it from other forum post by other, I don't it is okay for me to post their found out here, as if my input. if you can read Chinese and you would like to read it, you can private me and I will let you know which website you can look out for those info.

If you cant read Chinese, maybe you can tell me which clinic you are interested, then I helped you to see whether is blacklisted or have any bad review.
