winterntht
Oh I forgot to mention that breathing is extremely important after bone surgery. Imagine that your nose is completely packed from a nose job and your throad is full of phlegm. I would die if I were in that situation. I also heard a few people complaining about their noses looking big after facial bone contouring because the face is smaller. Some even consider re-doing their noses after their bone surgeries. Guest
To lazybug, I am a new member so I can not post my email address or phone number. I am from Sydney. I will visit below clinics: 1. Wonjin on 23rd Sept 9:30 am 2. JW on 23rd Sept, still negotiating about the deposit money 3. April.31St Clinic on 23rd, not yet confirming with them about the timing as their price is more expensive than other clinic they quote me. 4. Dream Plastic Surgery on 23rd, will contact them to get the timing. Btw, 18th Sept and 21st Sept is holiday, do not book your ticket that time. I made a mistake to book without checking the date. Anyway, I will have a holiday there with my husband during that time
mydeepestsecret
im glad u brought that to my attention. probebly doing both nose and facial bone isnt the smartest thing to do after all. altho im very stressed about it and i dono what to do becuz of my limited time in korea and desperately wanting to do all surgeries during this trip do u think doing the nose under IV sedation then v-line under GA the next day would be a bit better than having them together in the same day? and may i know where did u have ur nasal oteostomy surgery? winterntht
I had my nasal osteotomy by accident at an evil clinic called Samsung Kangnam which swapped doctors when I was under. I asked them not to touch my bone but they did it during the surgery because the one who actually did my surgery wasn't the one I consulted with. I only found it out after my surgery. However, your list of clinics looks good, you will be safe.
soong-sister
I suggest that you pick one doc that is good on the face then do all surgery under the same doctor . It is a bad idea to do two different surgery on the short gap and your body can't take it. Nose job is very easy and simple even a junior doc can do it well same as double eye lids . Therefore a doctor who is good with face surgery will be good with nose jobs. But if the doct is only good with nose job might not good with the face Jobs. This is what my friend whom is a dentist told me .
soong-sister
Thanks for winterntnt clarify this. I am not a medical expert neither have I done any nose jobs. I only l know that major surgery definitely have to be put under GA perhaps nose jobs is a small surgery so iv sedation will do .

mydeepestsecret
i am still looking and im havng the hardest time :'( i have found a good doctor for facial bone surgery that does exactly the kind of contouring i want but only he doesnt do nose surgeries. it's actually Smallface clinic, i mean i was told by the translator that he does nose surgeries but its not his line or speciality and they dont have a nose specialist at their facility. hence im interested in april31 or shimmian for nose. im still looking for a good clinic that does v-line surgery (without screws) and a nose specialist for otoestomy and septum deviation correction seems like i'll have to man up and do em all together in 1 day unless smallface allows a nose doctor from another clinic to operate in their facility while im under GA would save alot of pain and hassle. sadly iasked them already and they wont allow

theuglyduckling
hey everyone, has anyone done a surgery at VIPS? i'm not sure what their specialty is but they're the only clinic i know that uses rib cartilage for rhinoplasty which is permanent. they're saying that it's a good option but other clinics have said they're only trying to promote it to gain popularity. so who knows. and has anyone done MID-FACE AUGMENTATION? they can also use rib cartilage on that. i'd also like to know how they are with mandible reduction and belpharoplasty. and just in case, is it alright with these clinics to go to two clinics for different surgeries within your stay in Korea? they each have their own specialties, you see. thanks! kay-jay
Hi April_May, I'm flying to Korea in about 2 weeks and I'm planning to undergo revision rhinoplasty at either O&Young or JW. Just wondering if you have any updates about your nose condition? I hope you're healing well and looking good! Would you mind sharing your BA pictures with me, if possible? you can email me at kay.jay (at) gmail (dot) com Thank you!
hyong
Hi, i had surgery with vip this year , 2 months ago, shinmian uses rip cartliage as well and onyoung. So prehaps you would like to look at these few clinics that are listed But from mine limited knowledge vip is the only one that uses rip cartliage for paranasal implant/midface augmentation. I cant say that i am a 100 % happy but ,its not bad.
