I am planning on getting double eyelid surgery and have been looking at clinics. Has anyone heard of Hershe? There's celebrity photos and such, but I'm not sure if the celebrities actually did surgeries there, or if those photos are more for promotional purposes.

OH YEA...and that is NOT a blacklist. It's just a list of clinics. On the top, it specifically says it's NOT a blacklist. The red portion with the larger font says "This list has absolutely no relationship with blacklist."

Hi Cole,
Is Anita a translator like Zoe who also does consultation bookings and who will accompany you for check-ups, etc.?
If so, could you please send me her contact info?
What procedures will you be getting? We guys are far too few on this forum.

Thanks!

Thanks for an alternative view on this blacklist,I must say I was a little taken aback at
some of the names on it. I had travelled to Seoul a few months ago attended appts
at half a dozen clinics and the two stand out clinics from my point of view are both on
this list.
April 31 Kim Jae Hoon
101

I had better clarify that I was looking for a specialist surgeon for revision rhinoplasty
and was completely surprised by how helpful and interested Kim Jae Hoon was, I had
somehow gathered a preconceived notion that he would be arrogant and distant being
such a big player in the PS world or more particularly the rhinoplasty world.

It had always been my intention to report this forum my experiences in Korea as I have
gained so much important information from it. However personal crisis since I returned
have left me no time until now to do so.

Clinics Visited

JW Okay not falling over themselves to get my business ,found Dr Suh a
little arrogant, we just did not click.

Regen Refused to let me speak to a surgeon ,as I was not planning on having
surgery immediately.

April 31 As I stated above very impressed , the only serious option for me.

Migo I was impressed ,approachable surgeon , but high pressure consultants
and my interpreter was so clearly in their back pocket.
Had to completely discount.

Real Quick consult, not really satisfactory .By far the cheapest

101 This a tough one as I was very impressed with this consult
but this was not the surgeon I had planned to see.Had to do a search
when I got back to the hotel to find out who he was, not on the 101
website ,he is a Korean trained Dr from Taiwan ,still really impressive
before and afters perfect English.

So for me it has come down to April 31 even though along with 101 they were
easily the most expensive, but if anyone has info good or bad, I am quite willing
to walk away or start again. This a serious business that is why I was so curious
about that blacklist.

So if you discover anything let me know, and if I can give anyone the benefit of
my pretty limited experience just ask ,good luck everyone.

I am planning to go to Korea in around the middle of december ~13th. What is your recommendation for chin implants and alarplasty alone? Also, are translators required at these location recommendations if you cannot speak Korean? I would love some un biased opinion, a natural result is my main objective. I am very overwhelmed with the choice and prospect of not knowing.

Thanks for sharing. How do you find 101? I was recommended by a friend who works in plastic surgery dept in SG hospital to go there but haven't had a chance to consult them

Okay, I read the text now...I have only started learning Korean recently so I don't always read long texts, hard to understand/slow.

it says 저작권이 있습니다. 북사다 스크랩 하면 법적 책임도 불사하지 않 겠습니다.
불랙리스트와는 전혀 관련이 없습니다.
반드시 게시판에 숫자 로만 말해주시기 바라니다.

Please tell me if I got that wrong... But I think that is what it says ^^

but there are still @@@ on the list... why? they are at clinics we know are most sued... wonjin, faceline, ID... everyone knows... so why does this list have them @@@? coincidence?

I was surprised to see some clinics @@@ as well... like BeFor... but just because you don't want a clinic to be blacklisted doesn't mean it isn't...

Korean News1 had an article about the blacklist and 대한미용성형외과한회 (KSAPS) suing members who wrote in that thread for slander because the list included clinics that were members of 대한미용성형외과한회... if someone can find that article again please post it here...

I was given this list and said it has markings for blacklisted clinics... I believed the person, and I still think this is true... if someone can prove the @@@ is something else... please let me know... ^^;;
