I will give u a btr description of my eyes come saturday when the stitches come out. re: epi, i am one of those ppl who really needed it done. My mongolian fold looked exactly like a deers eye, overly prominent. i hardly ever see any before pictures of girls who had a more prominent epi fold than mine. i mean i kinda liked it, but i had to choose between keeping it or getting bigger eyes. dr lee said he wud only fix it a bit, and so i think i am going to b pleasantly happy w it. In my case, epi correction will definitely help open my eyes. N im trying to see if i will scar, but i think he really did a good job w the stitches so i m surprisingly not nervous. Knock on wood. K, snowstream n i were having this discussion earlier. n yes some of the younger guys that ive seen r attractive, but a bit softer for my taste, but i have seen a cpl good looking more masculine guys. adora10 Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 sharing my experience. had my nose (narrow bridge, alar base, tip) done in cinderella. am 2 days post op. went to the following clinics: 1) jw - warm reception. ladies at the recep and consultant look very pretty. but also very fake and plastic. this was a turn off even before i went in. big eyes, tall nose, small face. didn't get to meet with Dr as he was in surgery. 6 million won - narrow bridge, augment bridge using nose material, tip. did not bargain/negotiate. 2) dream - translator and i din fancy this place. insisted on silicone. said i could go for other clinics if i wanted to use my own material. did not note the price. 3) migo - warm reception. liked the consultant. she seemed the most professional. met with dr kang for a bit he was rushing for a surgery. 6.5 million won - bridge augmentation using nose material, narrow bridge, tip. did not bargain/negotiate 4) cinderella - warm reception. liked their english translator. she's really friendly. consultant is professional. i met with dr hong their rhino specialist for a while. basically he was rushing in and out of surgery, and could only prod around my nose and decide what needed to be done. 5.6 million won - narrow bridge, tip, remove some excess fats from nose. it was a toss up between migo and cinderella. i decided on cinderella because i remember before & after noses of migo looking pretty similar - same upturned tip. i decided on cinderella because it was the whole package - nice reception, nice translator, nice consultant, although i felt the dr was too busy to really sit down and listen. i made sure i emphasised that i didn't want a thin sharp nose tip and too tall bridge. on day of operation, consultant came in to tell me that dr said i had to do alar because my base was broad and it would be an additional 1 million won. i was really peeved because it was such a last min thing and dr could have pointed out before i confirmed on which clinic to go. they said if i din have enough cash i could come back again. this got me fuming mad as it made me feel as though they only wanted money and not what's best for your nose. the best thing was? i had to pay before i went into surgery. i was willing to hand them my passport, and swap it when i changed money. the consultant insisted that all money had to be in before surgery. i did not want to make things difficult so i have them my sgd1k. using a rate of 870 is 870,000. by right i should have a change of 70,000 but that they did not even want to give. true colours. i was totally pissed off with cinderella just half an hour before my surgery. decided to let it go, and go into surgery. i saw dr 5 mins again before being led away to change. decided to use song hye gyo as a guide, and i once again repeated i did not want sharp nose or high bridge, and showed him noses which i felt were ugly. once i changed into surgery clothes, washed my face, was led into the operating room. was given GA thinking i'm so wide awake, next thing nurse was calling my name. - i will continue sharing more - btw my nose was put into a nasal split because i did bone bridge narrowing. and my tip looks sharp like a triangle. can anyone advise if this will come down? or is it cos my nose is following the shape of the split since it is taped up? it is depressing seeing such a sharp nose! bella147 Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 that's really upsetting to read that they jacked up the price by $1M last minute - almost not giving u a choice. i know i sound like a broken record, but it's not actually cheaper to get ps in korea you still have a lot of swelling so u need to wait about a week before u can start to see the shape ur nose will finally take - don't get depressed, just think hpw beautiful ur nose will be...positive vibes and thinking = faster recovery time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bella147 Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 no, not yet planning on doing nose & eyes - i want something very natural. thinking just alar reduction (nothing foreign in my nose). eye - thinking epi, ptosis and double eyelid it's just depressing hearing what us foreigners get quoted and then talking to my korean friends...their eyeballs almost pop outta their eye sockets lol their korean friends only pay about 1-2k for eyes (and 2k is apparently max). of course i don't know the full story, but basically we pay double. i know a clinic quoted a korean 3k for nose - tip, rhino & alar thanks for sharing ur experience and i'm sure ur nose will turn out great!!! Sorry to hear about the $ issue tho, they shudda just bit the charges for u tho cuz it. wasnt like u didnt have a consultation first. It was their mistake, not yours. Sorry i dont know the exact answer to ur question, but snowstream was told that her nose will come down a bit after the swelling subsides. i hope u the best outcome! adora10 Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 cinderella is on the pricey side. i was prepared to pay because i want my nose to be in the best hands. and also helps that lee se young did her 2 jaw surgery with cinderella. are you single lidded? do your eyes bother you? my honest advice would be to do nose first. reason being the shape of your eyes or your look may change you do your nose. it takes time to accept first of all the banged up swollen look, then the new nose. put eyes and nose together? it may be a change tt's hard to swallow. so go easy on yourself. i wanted to do my eyes too - epi, lateral, makes my eyelids even. glad i didn't, because my eyes did change with the higher bridge. go what you are comfortable with and what you look. do not let the consultants sway you. be strong & wise to make your decision. it helps to have an experienced translator to advise you on your short listed clinics and thereafter which clinics to choose. adora10 Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 i honestly wasn't expecting cinderella to absorb the charges, though the most decent thing would be for them to do that. it's hard to say who's mistake as the doctor was actually came out of surgery in his scrubs to see me. it has happened so i would like to put it behind. i'm sharing this so people who go to whichever clinics know what to expect....and what to avoid. like the above. bella147 Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 yeah i did hear that and i do want a natural look however, i'm not adding anything to my nose. i don't feel 100% with any sort of implant in my nose. so i won't be adding height to my bridge or anything. i kinda already have some height. purely just reducing my bulbous nose - so if anything, just removing not adding. i don't think what i have planned for my nose will dramatically change my face or my eyes,...in fact some might ask why do it in the 1st place lol looking at b&a pics of bulbous nose surgeries (with no implant or change to the bridge), there's not too much difference. slight change in ur profile and just a smaller alar base, that's it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
