Hi, my friend and I are also in Seoul for consultations right now. He just got his procedure done today and will be recovering for the rest of the week. I was wondering if you wanted to get together to explore the city or grab some grub? I'm very new to this forum, so don't have private messaging yet, but maybe we can exchange emails? Looking forward to your reply.

I had my BA surgery Jan 10th. OMG, I lost lots of hair! It's kind of scary! I have lots of hair to begin with, but still, not pleasant. I did research and it might has something to do with GA. I plan to go to Seoul for Facial contouring this spring or fall. Now I'm a little concerned. For those who have done multiple surgeries at different times, did you lost hair every time after GA?

Where is a good place to find reviews and more information on good Korean plastic surgery doctors and clinics? I think the language barrier is really going to be a problem, and am afraid I don't find the right doctor for me.

That's why you do some research on your own and look through clinic B/A's to see whats suit your preferences

Everyone who has started research, I assume, have most likely felt that way, but you can't rush researching and taking notes, so just relax and try to absorb and write down notes here and there

Hey there,

I'm also considering BK for rhino, I did my online consultation and exchange emails and they quoted me $5500 max for cartilage rhino. They assure me for 3 days stay at their guest house. I also wanna know how's the result of those going for BK
Although it has bad reviews, it might still have some good points which attract people to come over, isn't it ?

Hi Greenhood

i got quoted US$3500 for implant, tip-plasty with septal cartilage and 4500 for that plus weir reduction and bulbous nose correction.

Are you doing rib cartilage? I have researched and enquired about this method and told by a couple of places that silicon gives the most natural result and the other methods are all just marketing. I was told that rib cartilage is really hard and doesn't give a nice shape and is recommended for revisions.

I think the reviews are enough to make me cautious to try them though...there's so many other ones.

I'm actually leaning towards Dream because I heard Dr park is one of the few skilled who can perform close rhino. My friend did closed rhino there and her only regret was not making it higher because she thinks too natural. My korean friend also takes her foreign friends there.

I also like the response I got from Grand but i have been reading through old posts and someone posted they had the highest sue rates by Koreans almost 60 :confused1:

Has anyone done rhino or heard or have any advice on Oz, Dream and Grand please?

When are you planning on going Green Hood?

I'm going in May !
Yeah I heard about BK's bad reputation and the sue rate of course but I'm just wondering why do they still have customers coming in?
Now I am preferring banobagi as they seem a bit attractive to me. Have you heard of it ??
And about the rip rhino, yeah grand told me why don't I want silicon instead of rib cartilage as they said ppl get I sastified with the result compared with silicon!
But I don't want any foreign materials in my body as I guess time by time your silicon will have side effect to you, isn't it ?? :confuse

Lots of marketing I think and they are one of the biggest so I guess can't make everyone happy lol.

Grand messaged me the same message maybe they aren't skilled in rib rhino...who knows.

I was told that silicon is safe depending on what method is used and infection is due to individuals body reacting with a foreign substance and cases are low. I was also told that the L shaped silicon which was popular 15 years ago is one with cases of it moving or rupturing. eeek! =S

The dermo fat option- 30% dissolves into your own tissues after 1 year so they make it really high to begin with. I might consider this or stick with silicon because rib cartalige sounds too scary....

I'm checking out Banobagi site now it actually looks really good! Do they specialise in rhino?

My ID is edrage99. Feel free to Kakao talk me anytime. My friend just got out of surgery yesterday and I just got out of surgery today, so we're also in the process of recovering. We went to Lotte world and other places prior to surgery, and realized that there's so much more to explore in Seoul, but feel that it'd be more fun with more people, so feel free to message me whenever.
