mischa-mikael
Hi SeoulforReal Would you be able to suggest how far apart should surgery be then should I decide to have separate surgeries? I intend to have work done on my nose and my squarish face.
seoulforreal
It is advisable to have at least a 3 month gap if you want to separate the surgeries, but some people have done it month later, some one to two weeks later. If you don't have that kind of time then an alternative is to go to a bigger clinic like Regen or ID, where they will have two doctors perform the operation. meaning, a nose specialist will come in and do the rhino, and then maxillofacial surgeon will do the face contouring on the same day. I think both ID & Regen are reputable and experienced (ID having the most experience, but Regen is still good). ID seemed a little too frantic and busy for my tastes. mischa-mikael
That's quite a good point. Thanks! Unfortunately both aren't my consideration. I'm actually leaning towards View, Apgujeong Seoul Plastic Surgery, Chungdam U and the latest one - EverM, but that would mean I'll be going to separate surgeries since they don't do nose. chaneladdicted2
Thanks for the information, that's interesting to know. Do you have any ideal if ID hospital using this CT scan for V-line surgery? The other day I have got into contact with my Rhinoplasty doctor and he said it is possible to have Rhinoplasty after Genioplasty or mini V-line in 4 days. Well, he knows better than me since he is the surgeon but I'm still worried if it would be dangerous to have 2 separate surgeries too close in time . The Rhinoplasty is just like a 10 minutes procedure and it will be under local anaesthesia... By the way, I have been checking on Face Line and Ever M website but couldn't find any email address. They are all in only Korean... Is there any chance you might have their consulting email address?

kianpark17
I'm really having trouble finding "insider" accounts on where to go to. From your experience, where would you suggest to start? Out of the hundreds available, it's quite hard to choose because all of them have their ups and downs. Some people say one thing, and some people say another. It's giving me a headache because I want to make sure that I'm getting what I paid for.
kianpark17
That's true because it isn't taken systemically. When undergoing any procedure that gives systemic anesthesia, its impt that you not eat anything the night before (usually starting at 10pm) because of the risk of aspiration. You can actually choke on what you've eaten because the anesthesia weakens your muscles, including the muscles controlling your stomach and throat. seoulforreal
Depends on what you're looking to have done. I would short list 5 clinics just based on online research and sending emails. Make a dummy email account and stay fairly anonymous when communicating by email, just to see what they quote. The price from a face to face consultation might be lower, so you don't want to lock yourself to the email quoted price. Do your consultations at all 5, but I recommend picking one or 2 clinics outside your list to warm up and go through the motions (so total 6-7 clinics) that way when you visit your top 5 you know what the routine will be and you can focus your time and questions. Then set a hard deadline for you to decide. Like after you visit your last clinic have 1 rest day to not think about anything, just chill out. Then the next day weigh the pros and cons, and decide. This will help you overcome decision paralysis, information overload, and having too many options to choose from. Once your deadline, comes you must pick, and once you pick don't look back. Have you considered Shimmian in the Philippines for nose?
seoulforreal
Is it me or do Jewlery's before and afters look BAD? I mean I know the girls in the before pictures were not in the most esthetically pleasing state to begin with, but the after pics look so plastic and unattractive. I'm specifically referring to the eyes. They're too wide eyed and the lower eyelid aegyo filler injections look more like an infection. http://www.jewelryps.kr/story/before/index.jsp?rowNum=9&reqPageNo=1&no=1195&searchClinicFK=20&stype=&sval=
monalisa77
Jewelry doesn't really have good reputation. The pics are tempting (most of them)
lexethan
The eyes are okay; nothing great. However, it seems like the same eyes on everyone. Only one girl where the eyes matches her face; the one on the top right corner. I hate it how everyone have this "love band" or what I call bags under their eyes. seoulforreal
Yeah that love band is ridiculous, they say it gives Koreans girls more aegyo, which is urban dictionary defines as:
