sesamekiss,
thank you so much for writing about your experience. i love that you write so thoroughly! also i am very happy for you that you're happy so far and hope it continues to heal well!
i have a question though... i noticed your tip is much more pointed up now and i know it's swelling and in fact, it looks cute on you... but i don't have a "cute" face like yours actually and the pointed up would not look good on me so was wondering if this is what you discussed with dr. suh and he did it as you agreed on or something? i am worried that a cute nose won't fit me because i'm so used to my not cute nose. hahaa. thank you again ^^!
happy healing! ^^ :flowers:

This is quite alarming. I wonder why people haven't reacted to this but difficulty breathing because of anesthesia is an emergency. Do you know what specific reaction you had? Was that the only symptom you felt? You must've felt really scared having trouble breathing.

I think that the anesthesia given may have been a little more than what was actually needed. I don't think you had a delayed reaction because the anesthesia is directly carried in our blood and you would've immediately reacted to it. Although delayed hypersensitivities do happen, it's rare. I haven't read my books in quite a while so I may be wrong on this one.

:nuke: Just thought that I'd share this:

http://www.military.com/daily-news/2013/03/29/north-korea-orders-rocket-prep-after-us-b2-drill.html?ESRC=sm_todayinmil.nl

http://edition.cnn.com/2013/03/29/world/asia/north-korea-us-threats/index.html

Looks like things are getting really serious. :nogood: Let's pray that it doesn't escalate any further.

Does anybody in Korea have some local news?

Hey sesamekiss, thanks for your update.

Is the photo on the left (with makeup) 2weeks post op? Your eyes and nose looks great, not swollen at all.

I am planning to go Seoul for PS alone so was wondering if u can PM me your translator yumi's contact?

It does seem serious. They've been "preparing" for years now and their "scientific" rocket launches are proof that they can really do some damage to the South. I think that they've done 2 or 3 test launches. I remember parts of the debris hit the Northern part of the Philippines.

lol. They don't have any fire power against the US but they are definitely targeting US bases in the South. A threat is still a threat and they have seriously beefed up their "defenses." Just hope that they aren't seriously thinking about going to war but I think the young Kim Jong-un is cocky and arrogant enough to actually do it.

Congratulations! How are you feeling now? Has all of the swelling subsided? Can you paste in a picture of how you look now? I know that the heat lamp improves circulation and promotes healing but I'm curious to know about the ointment. Do you know what kind of ointment they used? So was it just three de-swelling treatments?

The US has bases everywhere. They [N. Koreans] wouldn't risk attacking its [US] base there in Seoul because that would be declaring war; a war that they would get crushed. They've cried wolf ever since mid 1950s. I guess one could never say never. That "Un" family may be psychotic enough to ask for a death warrant.

FYI, for those coming from the US, register with the state department when you'll be traveling there to safeguard in case something does happen they'll have you accounted for and hopefully get you out.

Sesamekiss, your surgery results are amazing!! Thank you so much for posting about your experience. I'm having surgery at JW later next month and will have almost the same type of rhinoplasty. I really hope my results are as successful as yours. I'm also relieved after reading your day-by-day details. Thanks again and congrats!

Hi hongkongphooey,

I am going to have rhinoplasty...probably bridge implant and alar base reduction. I almost decided to go for JW and put down a deposit but my Korean friend told me I should consult a few more doctors first before making decision, so I am planning to visit JW, Regen and BK on my first 2 days in Seoul.

I will be travelling from Hong Kong...Are you from HK as well?!
