But I wonder : how long should I stay? It's not "weird" to get to a clinic to have surgery with stitches on the eyes? Is not bad for health to get two anaesthesiae? hongkongphooey Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Yes I had double eyelid surgery in the UK last year but the surgeon is not skilled like the docs in Korea so he simply just took out some skin. I decided this year i want almond shape eyes and this is why I had eye surgery again, it's not really revision but more enhancement. I can't say if its a success yet as they are pretty swollen. I have difficulty with my vision as my eyes keep 'filming' over but lucky for me there is always a group of us when we go out. I can not stress enough how important it has been for me to have the April gang around me we have really bonded well as a group and supporting each other every day. I am tempted to do the same if I am put in the same situation. I am still looking into a few more clinics before I start emailing them. What will your next post be on? I feel the same way because it would be a little awkward to go into a clinic with stitches and say that "I had this done right next door and would like to get this done with you." I am worried that they may say that it is done wrong, they could have done a much better job, or say that I am not healing right just to make us have another surgery with them after we heal. I might just go to a clinic where I can get my eyes and nose done at the same time. Does anesthesia have an effect? I do not know. My philosophy is that if I get put to sleep once, I would like to wake up knowing that it is all over and have to focus on healing rather than having to have to go over the same anxious feeling again. Is there anybody who has multiple surgeries at different clinics? Please do comment and enlighten us. I understand that certain clinics are known to be specialized in a certain area but how did other clinics respond when you had a different surgery done with them? I've lost count of the amount of users who've come into the thread, gone for their surgeries and then not come back to the thread. Or the users who come in, ask for advice, get the advice and then vanish. Some will post their experience and then leave, some will just not come back at all. But i guess thats the nature of getting plastic surgery, some people are quite comfortable talking about it, some just don't want people to know period and so contributing to a thread all about plastic surgery wouldn't be the first thing they'd want to do.
