Haha, actually I haven´t done much research about this 3 clinics, especially JK. ^^ However I´ve heard positive reviews of Regen and Item. In general I would recommend you to do research about the doctor who is going to perform your surgery, more like the clinic itself. In ITEM I think Dr. Kim JinSung is the one who specializes in facial contouring, while in Regen it´s Dr. Oh Myung June, as well as Dr. Dr Lee Seok June . Regen is a very big clinic, I thin can even call it a hospital so there are sure more specialists for facial contouring but I´ve heard these two are the most senior doctors at Regen. ^^ For JK I don´t have much to say since I haven´t done any research about them, sorry. Anyway, in your place I would to some research about these doctors and maybe contact people who underwent surgery with them. And of course contact the clinics! Do you wish for a "dramatic" change or do you prefer a subtle change with a more "natural" look? I´ve heard that SmallFace clinic is good in terms of a "drastic" change. As for me, I am considering JW, Pitangui, Dream and some other clinics. I haven´t decided yet, there are so many clinics! >.< Among plastic / cosmetic surgery, facial contouring surely is on the more extreme side. Since I didn´t have any experience with it, and it varies from person to person, I can´t really say much about it. ^^ Many people say that the initial swelling will go down in the first month. Ask the consultants of the clinics, they will provide you a proper answer. I hope I could help you a little bit. When do you plan to go to Korea? I did have my eye surgery with Dr Kwon at Teuim but can't review yet as there is swelling but will endeavour to do so when the time is right. Are you loving the tip of your nose? ms-rochelle Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 That is a very good point to bring up because I think that there are a lot of Asians living abroad and not that many caucasians on here. My fiance is interested in having his jaw trimmed down as well and I think that it is important to discuss the differences between Western and Asian plastic surgeons. I have read that most Western doctors would completely pass up on our nose, eyes, etc and say that we are already "beautiful" since their standards are different from ours. And if a caucasian would go to an Asian doctor for surgery, they would immediately do the same since the trend is to "look" western. Having international training would be an advantage but I am not quite sold if they are really that capable unless they have had years upon years of experience and have not just stayed their for a couple of months/weeks for a measly certificate. I noticed that all of the doctors in BK and grand have graduated from the local Korean Universities (i hope I didn't overlooked anyone who has not). Now I'm wishing the area between my nose was a bit narrower. Not that my nose looks awkward, but I guess it's my own greed... Does anyone know if dermis for nose is done as an injection? if it is, I think I may consider that in the future. No way I'm cutting up my nose and going through all of that again... Depending on my financial situation, I'm thinking fall? Medial epi to open my eyes a little If you're getting three revisions, do you still recommend ID clinic? But before doing that, I think that it would be wise to talk with the plastic surgeon first (and those involved in the surgery) to see what went wrong and if there was any negligence on their part. Of course, they would deny it but at least you can put on record that they didn't acknowledge your surgery and have done nothing to try to fix it. But based on my own research a lot of foreigners do come to korea to have surgery but there are not any actual statistics on how many are actually caucasians.
