Once all the swelling had subsided after 6 months I did not like the low curve on my radix and the tip had become more rounded. I still don't know why the tip changed so much, I can only deduce my septum cartilage had somehow shifted or broke down. So I had new I shape silicone and Dr Kim had reused my septum and ear cartilage already in my tip but harvested more cartilage from my left ear to project the tip further.

I'm in a dilemma. I want to have eye revision, nose job and fat grafting but i also wanted to go to an eye revision specialist.
And i am wondering if it's better to get eyes done at the specialist's then nose and fat at another clinic, and it that case, will how can they do a good job is i have swollen eyes
Or i have all my operation with the eye specialist
Or i forget about the eye specialist and have those 3 operations in a good general PS clinic.

I too have the same problem, but I think the most important thing is to get the best result, so I decided to book in two different clinics, one for eyes and one for the face.
It's true that the eye surgery is performed anywhere, but I trust most the clinics that are "specialized", and do only/mainly the eyes.

I wonder if it is better to go through an agency that one blogger QiuQiu had gone through? What do you all think? Will going through an agency makes the doctor more meticulous in performing the surgery instead of us just going as an individual? I am looking to do nose and fat grafting also.

Hi everyone,

Been reading this thread and the old one trying to gather as much information as I can but decided to join the conversation when I saw that the clinic I have in mind for my V-line surgery was mentioned just recently on this thread.

I see that most surgeries being discussed here is mainly eye/nose surgeries so it wasn't very easy to get a clear view which clinics to consider when it comes to jaw reduction.

I saw that one user had it done at ID clinic and her results were very good but of course I heard about the bad about ID as well so I think for now I have to exclude ID. A friend recommended me BK as well but I haven't exactly heard much good about them.

I'm looking for a drastic change, I'm asian male and I had already got response from Putangui by Nicole and I really felt that this clinic might be a good choice but I'm still waiting on responses from other clinics such as Small face etc.

I don't really have a wide chin I guess, it's just the jaws I guess so I don't have that V-shape, then again I'm a male so I guess I'm not really supposed to have it.

When I book my ticket soon I'll add myself to the list, right now hoping to go 19th May to 6-8 June. 2 weeks should more than enough for jaw reduction I hope.

If anyone has any V-line/jaw reduction surgery experiences, please let me know!

Hello, I haven`t been here for a while becouse I was quite bussy but this Forum is going very fast, so many new posts. I still havn`t decided if I should do Zygoma and Mandline reduction or endoscopic lift and where to go. I am continuing my research and becouse of that I have some questions which I would like to aske:


1. I found out that Kangnam Aesthetic Clinic use less invasive procedure for mandline and zygoma reduction. I found link which explain their procedure:

Does anybody know something about this Clinic ?
Do You think technique they use can give better result than average technique, and the sagging skin is less likely to appeare ?

2.Other my corcern about Zygoma reduction :

-Is it true that: "Cheekbone reduction will likely narrow your face but at the same time enhance your cheeks and make them look rounder”?
- Is it true that eyes often change shape after this surgery, for example become bigger or smaller?
- Is it true that jaw looks chubbier after surgery, and if yes is it quite big change?

Please could anyone answer me about this questions, (of course I can aske doctors but like I said before I don`t believe that all of them are telling the truth, I quess I more believe some people on this Forum and prefer aske here at first).

The thread is clearly titled, "Best Plastic Surgery Clinics in Korea" - I don't know how strict your interpretation of that topic is and what constitutes relevance in your mind. But most plastic surgery in Korea occurs in Gangnam. My post was related to the underlying social behavior I have witnessed and interpreted on what gives rise to and enables plastic surgery in Gangnam with my own personal commentary that was developed from my time living here as well as several perspectives I have read in local news articles and discussed with Doctors, consultants, marketing staff and natives who have gone under the knife, essentially people who have a qualified opinion on the topic.

"I personally love Gangnam when I visited" - Yes, as you should, you are a visitor, you are not picking up your life and moving it here - that's a different story. That's like me, diehard Mickey Mouse fanatic, antagonizing a Disneyland employee who writes a post about what it's like to work at the magic kingdom by saying, "Hey! I went to Disneyland for Spring Break, and it was awesome, so what the heck are you talking about!?" (I'm not really a Mickey Mouse fanatic btw). This applies to people who live in Las Vegas, Hawaii, etc... locals will have a completely different insight than a tourist.

"It seems like you have a lot of disgust towards Koreans (living in Gangnam) so I'd like to know why you are living there now." – If that was the case, I would have disgust towards my GF, her family, all my-coworkers, neighbors and the majority of my friends, so NO you read too deeply into it and that’s not the case. A lot of people have disgust towards the ugly side of Gangnam, especially everyday Koreans. In fact, the song "Gangnam Style" is a satire about this ugly side. But the songs interpretation has changed since it unintentionally went global and put Psy (who is by no means the ideal Korean representative) in the unique position to be a spokesperson for Korea and many of its brands. Also, the song was subtle in its criticism because it's technically illegal to say anything in a public forum that could be considered defamation about Korea and its culture - one Korean comedian is in jail now for doing so on his podcast.

Why I live here? Cool job, no car and need to be in the office on time, so I don't want to wake up earlier than I already have to. Living in Gangnam is convenient for a foreigner, and my GF lives here. As I said before it has its perks.

Last week Korea’s President Park in her address to the nation cited Psy’s Gangnam Style and Gentleman as examples of how the nation should develop its future economy. That is the commander and chief of Korea taking a song about the very neighborhood in question and making it analogous to how to develop the economy of an entire nation. Take up yours qualms of extrapolation with her.

Do I plan on getting work done? To be honest, it’s my body and I have not decided yet, if, when and where. That’s the point of this thread - for people to process this decision. I recently had a TPF member who I was helping find a place to stay, come out here, and on her own accord change her mind about getting procedures done after spending some time over here and saw things as they are in her own perspective. I am not a surgery advocate, I am not an anti-surgery advocate. I am an informed decisions advocate and many people due to time constraints and receiving one-sided marketing information have made uninformed decisions. Most of the time, and fortunately it worked out in their favor, and as you might notice from recent posts trickling in - it sometimes did not.

I know we've been PMing back and forth, and I know that I said that your last response was too long and I didn't read it, but the last paragraph caught my eye and I thought I should address it publicly.

Quite a few posts of mine are exchanges with the user Shane77. First off, WOW. You must've read all of my posts... How do you have time for that?
But more importantly, I don't think this makes me suspicious. I mean, he was a wealth of knowledge when I asked about zygoma surgery (which in a moment of crazy I considered), and said a lot of "mention my name and get a discount" type of thing. Why wouldn't I be chummy?

But if you've continued to read all of my posts, which I don't expect because I wrote hundreds, you would also find that I was one of the first to write about forumer EB's negative experiences and findings. From what I recall, I didn't mention his user name nor identify poor EB... but it was there.

So if anyone finds me suspicious, well... I will say I post a lot of praise on JW's work, but it's only because I'm happy with my results, and I almost always tell people who are considering JW to also go consult other clinics. If I don't it's cause I can't be bothered to type...

And right now, I'm interested in Teuim, so if anyone knows anything about magic epicanthoplasty for really small double eyelids that look like monolids... Please let me know! I'm shooting for Sohee from Wondergirl's eyes.

Hello everyone, I had revision rhinoplasty about a year ago in Seoul, Korea and am quite satisfied with the results, but there's still one area near the radix of my nose that I find unnatural. It could be too minute of an issue for the Doctor to fix, because fixing it would mean another operation and that would be too troublesome to go through it all over it again. Nevertheless, I still want to get Dr. P's opinion as to how to proceed with this dilemma.
