Does anyone know about this place? I'm interested as the article states

I'm looking for somewhere inthe world that can perform long chin reduction to a noticeable degree, I havea very long and wide chin and surgeons that I've met in London show me results that I honestly can not tell any differance from their befores.
It is depressing not being able to seem to find anyone that has had vertical height chin reduction or find anyone that can actually do it and make a aesthetic differance.

I see impressive results on IDhospitals new page but have noticed alot of complaints of this place on this website and I question if these pictures are photoshopped or not?

thanks moonspiral for this new info! i have the same issue as you, i have a very long and wide chin as well and been looking for a surgery to reduce it. please let me know if you find more information on this procedure! and I shall do the same!

Ok I know no one has heard about this place but it was recommended to me by a local so I went to check it out. Once I walked in there was a Russian girl working the reception that spoke English! Yay. She helped me fill in some paper work and also asked me if I wanted coffee, tea, water, etc. After about 30 minutes I was able to speak with a counselor. They took me up the elevators into a counseling room. The counselor was Sera and she was the manager of the global business division. She asked me what I wanted to do. I told her implant, alar and tip. Showed her some pictures and she told me to hold up shes going to get the doctor that would suit the nose I wanted. After 10 minutes Dr. Jun kim came and touched my nose and did his magic. He spoke English and told me that he would give me 3 or 3.5 mm silicone, alar reduction and a tip but he said the girl from the picture I showed him.. her tip wouldn’t match my face cause I have a protruding mouth and he showed me what it would look like pushing my nose down and showing that I would look ridiculous with that tip. So he recommended that I just do a little one. I really like how he pushed and pulled on my nose and was very blunt with the consultation. He asked if I had any questions and I just asked him the length of surgery about 1.5 hours and open or closed and in my case it would be open. Then he left me with Sera. She estimated the prices to be 6.5 mil. I asked for discount and she said she’ll ask manager and said cause I’m a foreigner she can drop the price to 5.5 mil and I said uhh still expensive… and she said if I give permission to use picture for website it would be 4.6 mil. I said ok thanks and left.

Dream
Dream was across the street so I went over there. I met with the counselor Ms. Lee. She asked me what I wanted to do and showed me pictures and she recommended me to get tip and silicone but not alar as my nose was not that wide… LIES!! So just tip and slicione was 4.4 and alar was 550,000 if I really wanted it. She also recommended me to shave my cheekbones down…The doctor was off that day so I couldn’t talk to him so she schedules me to meet him on Friday at 3:00. I said thanks and left. I did not go back cause I decided to go with shimmian!

Wonjin
As I was shopping in Namdaemun. I was trying to buy some shoes and some guy asked me why I was alone and I told him I’m gonna go do plastic surgery and he said he also did his! I asked him where and he said at Wonjin and told me that, that’s the best place for girls to do any kinds of plastic. Korea’s number 1 plastic surgery place apparently.. So he told me to visit. I went and holy moly all the girls that worked there were super pretty! I consulted with a girl who just did her eyes lol I asked the girl who spoke English if she got her nose done there because I really liked it and she said yes. So they took my pictures and we went to see the same nose doctor that did the receptionist’s nose. He drew on the picture and said he would give me 4 mm silicone make my tip longer and alar base reduction. He also recommended me to get nasal bone narrowing and I guess I had a little hump on my nose that needed to be shaved off too…. I said ok and went back to counseling room. She told me everything would be 3.5 mil. not bad!!!!!!!! So I said ok I’ll think about it and left.

Shimmian
I was seriously getting sick and tired of looking around for clinics to visit. I just wanted it done and over with. So this was the last one. I went in and said I don’t have an appointment and if I can just get a consultation. The receptionist gave me some papers to fill out and after 10 minutes she took me to the consultation room. She told me what she thinks about my nose and asked how I felt about my bridge height and if I get it higher my eyes would look much nicer and I said yeah higher would be nicer lol anyways instead of leading me out of the room she just told me to go back outside and I was like ok… and then I waited outside in the receptionist area and then another girl called me to take pictures. We went into another room and took pictures… she told me to go wait outside…. I thought it was weird that they told me to leave the room as if I just went into office to talk to my boss and got yelled at and dismissed but maybe that’s just crazy old me. Anyways I’m waiting outside and I see a lot of pretty patients going in and out. I get called to see Dr. Jang. He’s very nice and calm and always had a smile. He told me what kind of nose I had and recommended me to get alar tip and implant. He showed me a lot of pictures! Even the bloody ones!!! He was like oh here are the scary ones. Anyways he explained in detail all the things he was planning to do and described every procedure like he defined all the terms for me. Super informative! What sold me was when he asked if I had any questions and I said can I show you the picture of the nose I like and he said ok. And as soon as he saw it he was like ok you need 4 or 5 mm silicone and the tip needs to be round instead of pointy and I knew he knew what my ideals were and he could make it happen! I felt the connection of his genius brain to my nose. After that I went outside and waited while I text chrisalexander who just got his rib rhino there that I think this is the clinic I want and I hope the price won’t kill it. The reception took me into a room to discuss price and it was ONLY $2500!!! I WAS LIKE WHHHAT?!? KRW? And She’s like no USD. Still good. I asked if they were pretty open to schedule surgery and she said yea any time. So I was like uhh I’ll think about it. Stepped out and met Signalz and came back to schedule procedure. They did a blood test and I paid a deposit and I was schedule to do surgery Tuesday!

Nope, not yet... i only sent my pictures to the ID, Regen, and ITEM clinic with my xray and they told me i needed:
ID- said mini v-line
Regen: 2 jaw surgery and v-line, or just v-line
Item: v-line T-osteotomy

Still doing research but I am planning to go to korea next year of Jan 2014... im also planning to do rhino and chin reduction! best of luck!

Can someone please explain the difference between a mini vline and a regular vline surgery? Have anyone ever got fat graft put over the eyes because of the lack of fat and multiple eye lids? I have multiple eye lids and i have very thin skin, I am asian, and this makes my eyes look very tired.

Also, do you guys think it's safe to get vline, rhino, eyes, and zygoma reduction in one go? I hope i'll be okay to breath, knowing I'll be swollen like a balloon!

hahaha yeah from what i've read from others, it's not a good idea to have both rhino and vline together. having a nose surgery itself makes it hard to breath and adding that with a jaw surgery makes it even harder (youre going to have tubes in your nose and stuff PLUS you'll be swollen like a ballon lol) but they're people who do it all at one go like Peggy Heng who got it done at Item clinic.

Its probably best to get eyes and nose done or eyes and jaw together then nose later? I also heard if you change the shape of your jaw then the proportion of your nose changes to balance out your face.

I've been reading a lot of past posts in order to do some research before my journey to Korea. I am going to Korea on July 30- August 15. I have yet to decide my clinic of interest, but I'm leaning towards ID due to the fact that I want zygoma reduction and v line surgery. I actually plan on doing A LOT on my stay in Korea. I plan on doing: rhinoplasty, double eyelid, fat graft, v line, zygoma, and if it's safe, teeth whitening, skin bleach, and dimpleplasty. I most likely won't do the last three, but I will try depending on how swollen I will be. I am going through this process by using the medical tourism coordination of SEOULTOUCHUP. Do you guys have any experience with them? If you guys are using them, what are the pros and cons? They apparently have you get consultation the first day, and the second day of arriving to korea, you get the surgery. I'm going by myself and I was wondering if anybody would like to explore korea and go shopping?

Thank you for that information. I think I will be getting a mini vline..? We'll see when I get there. I'm going to consult with the doctor hoping that is a go for me to get all those done. If others can do it, I think I can manage. Thank you so much for the concern and I really do appreciate it I think the vline can't really do much for my nose. I don't have a typical asian nose, i have a hump and a weird butt tip, lol. So a rhinoplasty and vline is a MUST! are you going to korea? or have any work done?

As for me on day 8 its quite natural for me already as I got my thread remove on day 6 which was still swollen right after removing. but it goes down really quickly once the thread is out. I also make sure I drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruits for vit C and walk a lot which I believe helps to Deswell my swollen eyes at that moment.
By day 10 no one can tell I had double eyelid surgery if they don't see my eyes that closely because the line is still reddish. Wear a spectacle on no one will be able to tell lolz...

Thank for your reply, Anitx. Wow, 10 days, that's much faster than I thought. You did incision I assume? Did the doctor decide whether you should do incision or suture or you? I did suture many years back and now they are almost gone, so I am considering do it again, but not sure having done that before would make things more difficult. Would you send me before and after photos?

Hi everyone,
I am now week 7 post op from cheekbone reduction and here to share the progress in healing.

The incision marks by my sideburns have faded a lot since using the scar gel I bought in Korea. Now I can tie up my hair and go out fine

There is still some stubborn residual swelling in my lower cheeks when I smile, which can last up to six months. However nobody can tell I've had surgery by now. My face looks skinnier than before, but the swelling in my lower cheek makes the face a bit more bottom heavy than before. I'm not too worried about that as it will go away eventually.

I have mentioned before the positive effects that I noticed from the surgery, such as having a narrower face and enhancing my other features like making my eyes appear larger. As the swelling goes down my face looks more balanced and slimmer but also longer. I have a diamond shaped face. At first I thought my protruding cheekbones made me look tough and older, and surgery can make me look a lot younger, but now that my cheekbones are reduced I see that my my face looks more feminine, but not younger nor older after surgery because after my cheekbone was reduced, it made my face look longer than before too which makes it look older, but the softer facial contour makes me look younger, so it kindof balanced out.

I still have a slight diamond shape face, but the cheekbones do not look harsh anymore. Im glad my previous face shape is retained yet enhanced through the surgery. People just think my face slimmed down. I'm glad that some of my cheekbones are kept because it keeps some volume in my face which is important to looking young. Overly reduced faces will look long, flat, thin and old, and it's important to know that once the bone structure is reduced its hard to fix it back. As you age, your facial bones will naturally get smaller. You still need bone to support the structure of your face, and can add more volume by fat graft or implant, but won't be the same as bone.

For aftercare, I am still wearing the compression mask at home. I was instructed to keep wearing it for 3 months when possible. I've gotten used to it but I do look forward to the day that I can just go without it.

I am still taking 1000mg of vit C and a bunch of other vitamins like ALA and MSM as recommended by another cotter to help with nerve healing, anti-inflammation, and as an antioxidant.

After this surgery I realized there are so many things that could have gone wrong such as sagging, asymmetry, over reduction, etc. Beauty is also subjective so it is very important that you have clear communication with the surgeon and have the same idea of what is beautiful.

Bone surgery of any type will be obvious and will alter the balance of your face. I am happy that I went with a more natural surgery. A big overhaul could have made me much prettier, but it could also carry just as much risk of me not liking it. My results didn't give me a "perfect" face, but I'm happy with the natural results and subtle improvements.

I can confirm that doing v-line or jaw surgery together with rhinoplasty is a total nightmare! It's hard to breath already with the severe swelling in the mouth and in addition the nose is blocked, it was really anxious sometimes.. like I was gonna be choked any minute
