Best Plastic Surgery Clinics in Korea -read 1st post before posting.

So far every single clinic I messaged (tlps, the line, jk, item, rex...View said to come to consultation and no answer from Migo) recommend silicone implant. But to me it is too risky since it could deviate after some time and would need a redo...
I'm not really assured that its the best way to go for implant but I'm so torn because silicone can be shaped more easily
This sucks

Hi Andi, mine is using silicone... did it in singapore though. So far no movement whatsoever. Hmmm... I think the results have been satisfactory. Just share with you my personal experience but of course you have to decide on what you want best...

I've been looking up Girin, April 31 and View. I heard that April31 has been blacklisted by locals? Does anyone have any more information? Is this for rhinoplasty, was it Dr.Jae Hoon Kim? Is this why they are advertising to foreigners so much?
Any info please

Ice your face more & walk around more, it helps with the deswelling, but the weather in seoul now is so cold, feels like natural ice though :P

And to Incheon, get a cab, it costs around 50k won

Get well soon!

Hey Green, I actually shortlisted the exact same 3 clinics as you (for rhino & eyes). But I'll only be going for consultations with Girin and View in 2 week's time.

I decided not to go with April 31 due to the uncertainty. But there has been a fellow forumer who has had a face-to-face consultation with Dr. Kim of April 31, really felt comfortable with him, and liked his detailed explanations.

Hope that helps. ^^

Dear plastike,

Saw your question and though I should let you know - I've gone through surgery with Grand Clinic. It's the greatest regret of my life.

I even wanted to give myself and give them a chance to resolve the issues, but I've given up. They said it's due to my thick skin, they said it's due to my extra muscle. They said it's because I'm skinnier. They said that it's my subjective point of view.

Everything is my fault and non of their doctors' fault.

And FYI, their head doctor, Dr Seo has went to US to open a clinic or something. Please beware of him. He was the one who gave me my chin disfiguration and gave me worse nasolabial folds. Now I have sagging of the cheek after a year.

I haven't even started on my nose.

Just don't ever go to Grand, they are blacklisted here and the top most sued for a reason.
I just saw it too late.

I'm also choosing between those clinics and can't decide. I'd suggest visiting the doctors first hand - but I know how you feel with wanting to know the backgrounds.

a lot of you seem to be interested in view but one of the main doctors has left and started his own clinic DAPRS, i think it's worth looking into if you're interested in view. dr lee helped operate on a lot of the faces/models they use for view's website. you can see on his new site that he has brought some of the pictures from view.

if you guys look back in the thread the girls who went to view all had dr lee~

this is his personal work: http://blog.naver.com/sangwoolee7_

official clinic: http://daprs.com/

it doesn't have an english version yet so if you have trouble navigating here is the before and afters: http://daprs.com/index.php?page=board&file=list&atcl_seq=155&mc=0903&table=md_board&board_cd=bfa&srchCate=%EC%95%88%EB%A9%B4%26%EC%96%91%EC%95%85&cpage=1

Hello everyone, I'm new here but have been religiously following this thread for the past couple of weeks so thanks all for sharing your experiences and information.

I'm a 30 year old guy and have decided to get my jaw and lower face done in Korea later this month, I have an obvious symmetry problem where one side of my jaw hangs lower and sticks out, the cheek on that side also protrudes and appears much bigger which overall makes my head appear large and swollen. I look good from the side however my front view is a problem whenever it's time for an ID photo as it always looks like I have something stuffed in one side of my mouth and my head appears tilted no matter how I hold it. It also gives me a grumpy expression that I hate.

I have checked with numerous cosmetic and dental surgeons and the majority have agreed that it's a jaw and soft tissue problem that needs to be handled by a craniofacial specialist as I have tried botox but the change was minimal, therefore I decided to go for jaw reduction, genioplasty, buccal fat removal, and a lower lift as the skin is already sagging after loosing weight which I expect will worsen after these procedures.

Initially I wanted to consult with Banobagi, Regen, and ID but after reading some of the horrid experiences some have had with ID hospital I decided to switch it with either EverM, Pitangui, or TL PS so I'd really appreciate feedback on those three for the type of surgeries I want.

Here's a photo of a person with a problem that's similar to mine:

And here are results that I like just to show examples of what I'm after:

One of my main concerns is I don't want to end up with a rounder/puffier face which can look cute on girls but not on a guy, that is why I do not wish to get zygoma reduction as that's an associated side affect. I also tend to shave my hair a lot and I'm concerned about visible scars.

I will take a detailed photo simulation of the result I want which hopefully will clarify things better during my consultations, will also have a translator with me as I do not speak Korean.

Anyway, I apologise for my lengthy post and I'd appreciate feedback on my clinic choices.
